8/10. Everything was great. My only beef with this place is the pillow. I guess people here like firm pillows! We came from the other resort, they also have super firm pillows and I prefer less firm . And I love the "cocoquero"! Haven't had that many fresh coconut since Malaysia, which where I'm from.

Stayed at the Iberostar Grand Bavaro from 04/29-05/07 2024. This was our first time in the DR and first time at an Iberostar resort. We were not disappointed. We were with a large group, so transportation was pre-arranged with Amstar. No problems getting there and back to the airport. The resort was beautiful and well maintained. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Loved the shower. Didn't spend much time in the room though. The service was top notch. Shout out to Laura in the lobby bar. She provided exceptional service, to the point that we made sure when we went there in the evening that she would be our waitress. The food was delicious at every restaurant. Didn't matter which one we went to; they were all awesome. My only complaint, and it's small, is it took a long time to get your food. Dinner was usually an hour affair which is ok really. We were on island time with nowhere to go. We did visit the beach and it was beautiful. We didn't spend any time there because we are not beach people. The shows at night were fun. Mr. Nobody and the acrobats were our favorite. Just a suggestion for anyone going, tip your staff. Bring a lot of $1's and $5's. I know you don't have to, but they work long hard days. We would definitely go back to this resort and will certainly consider other Iberostar resorts for future vacations.

Everything was great. Top notch service and an overall amazing experience. The restaurants were all great, but do not overlook the buffet for dinner. It has some of the best food. Also, while at the pool/beach, be on the lookout for the coconut guy. Hell climb up and grab you fresh coconuts whenever you need! Perfect way to stay hydrated.

Danilo is amazing!! Attentive, funny, caring, and wonderful. He got my husband and I anything we needed for our stay. The hotel is beautiful and charming. Great beach. Fabulous service. The food is flavorful and delicious. Something for someone.

Segunda estancia en los últimos seis meses y volvimos a disfrutar muchísimo gracias a todo el personal que es maravilloso y hacen que te sientas como en un propia casa. Muy buena la atención del mayordomo Edward que es muy buen profesional. La calidad de la comida tanto en buffet como en los restaurantes muy buena y variada. El personal muy amable y atento con mención especial para Loraine, Juan P y Joaquín. Destacar lo bien cuidados que están los jardines que son muy bonitos, felicitaciones a su personal.Muy buenas las actuaciones de noche. Esperamos volver pronto. Felicitaciones a las personas de la dirección que nos recibieron y nos despidieron muy amablemente.

Salvador was incredible and made our stay so so great! The resort is one of the most beautiful i have ever stayed in. The decor is modern and very upscale!

Each and every staff member is attentive to yours needs. The entertainment is wonderful! The food is incredible! Each and every aspect of this all inclusive resort has meet or exceeded our expectations. The details added by housekeeping are top notch.
