Hotel was extremely clean covid protocols well handle, bad experience with the staff people been rude to you, hotel charge you for everything even some beds to lay down at the beach. there is other section at the hotel they charge you 50 dollars per night, only 2 ala carte restaurant available serving the same food every day, food was ok same menu every day, no activities at night because of covid protocol if you go to the adult section is expensive is not worded , the Caribe section the menu is a little better, staff at the restaurant do not serve you drinks on time they let you waiting if they see you are from another country or look like a tourist that is the only way they serve you on time, disgusting.

My best friend and I celebrated our 50th birthday at Meliá Resort and had such a fabulous time. Our concierge, Alejandro Estrella spoiled us every day. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and more. The resort was beautiful, everyone was so helpful, the food was excellent and our favorite part was the daily spa treatments. I would highly recommend Meliá at the Level and when you book your reservation, request Alejandro Estrella as your concierge. You won’t we disappointed.

From start to end our trip was fantastic and Eduardo (Eddie Solutions) our concierge certainly helped play a part in that. He was always available to help in any way he could. This resort is beautiful, the staff are friendly, special shout out to Juan Ramirez for keeping our mini fridge well stocked, and Rosy Garcia for keeping our room spotless. We hope to visit again next year.

The Meliá in Punta Cana is a stunning resort. The beach is beautiful and the swimming pool area amazing. The food was delicious and wonderful cocktails. Particularly the bar at The Level did the most incredible frozen margheritas. We paid extra for The Level and it was well worth it. Wonderful spa treatments in the most beautiful spa I’ve ever been to. Alejandro, our concierge, was attentive and daily checked in with us. He was really brilliant and I must say having him to look after us every day was an added bonus to the holiday. Morning messages and suggestions for the day, table bookings, sorting out any little hiccups along the way. Thank you Alejandro and thank you Meliá for a trip to remember for ever.

The rooms and staff are fine. Buffet not great. If you are at beach front expect long wait times. They are either full or busy elsewhere. It is too hot and long to walk frankly. Some carts will not pick you up even if empty. So best allow 30 mins for trip to reception. It may be less but often not. Will not return.

Overall the food was horrible in the buffets and the specialty restaurants . The front desk had no clue on the free upgrades I was supposed to have had. He did upsell us to "The Level" which we paid an extra $475 for, I am still trying to figure out what all that money was for besides a butler and access to a specialty restaurant and a room closer to the beach and pool area. The room had horrible lighting throughout it and the lighting in the washroom was horrible very hard for my travel companion to put on her makeup and very hard for me to shave. People smoking throughout a "Wellness" property that was disgusting as well as people smoking in the pool. The language barrier was a challenging process no matter where we went. However our Butler Yamel was awesome!!! The beach area was very nice lack of servers for beverages though. I suggest ordering 2 things per person and remember to make sure to tip them as well.

My wife and I just got back last Monday from twelve days at Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Inclusive. We came for a tropical and beach get away, but this property exceeded our expectations. Alejandro Estrella was our concierge, as we were staying at the “Level”. Alejandro was kind, considerate and he booked all our dinner reservations. And to our surprise, we came back to our suite on our last day to a beautifully decorated room with a lovely farewell card. Randolfo Rijo at the restaurants was very kind and considerate. The gang at the rooftop bar were always welcoming and gregarious at Happy Hour. We came to Melia Punta Cana tired, but we left rejuvenated.

A beautiful, stunning hotel that absolutely shocked my boyfriend and I. We had a fantastic stay. My only complaint is the sea**** on the beach, but that's mother nature. We highly suggest upgrading to the level as this greatly improved our experience!
