Punta Cana Princess Adults Only - All Inclusive

Check in process was easy but scammed of having to spend an extra $140 for vip package in which includes extra amenities and gifts in which I never received. The tv did not work and called guest services many times. Tried ordering room service which was included and tried to charge me. The food is okay. Only nice part was the beach. Room had a very mucky feeling. The wifi is horrible. Barely works. Next time I’m going somewhere else for the money I spent.

Upon arrival i found out that Trip.com botch my reservation. i booked a garden suite that offered a king bed or two doubles. My search was 1 room 2 adults i was giving Punta Cana. princess suites. the resort refuse to check me and my sister in because a phone rep told me that my booking was good for two. had to use my spending money to pay extra cause Trip.com did not put my sister on the booking. food was nasty, cold and picked over. fresh food was not put out often enough. Flies were all over the food. wait staff at the steak house was rude and nasty. Refuse to correct my order after they messed it up. Spent an entire night hungry. beautiful spot but will never go to this resort again nor will i book with trip.com

The weather and location was very nice, but there were far too many vendors on the beach trying to sell excursions, jewelry, and pictures with animals. It was difficult to relax when someone came up to you every 5-10 minutes, and some were very persistent and would not listen when we said we weren’t interested. The food was ok but sometimes was not good. The resort itself was beautiful but some parts of the room were very outdated like the tv, bed, and mini fridge. Some of the lights also did not work in the room.

This resort was an absolute rollercoaster of an experience and not really in the best way. I will start with the negatives so you don’t have to read the whole thing if you don’t wish to do so. We have visited Punta Cana 5 times now and at this was our first experience with this resort. At this resort specifically, the employees spoke the worst English but seemed to be completely fluent in French and German. Which is good for some but not for those of us that speak English. Once we got to our room my wife immediately noticed bugs crawling and flying all around the headboard. We spoke to customer service and they said they would fix the problem asap! They did not fix the problem as we had to complain 3 days in a row and involve our travel agent to escalate the issue. Once the customer service manager (Alexander) got involved the bug problem did get better. But he insisted we do not change rooms and fought with us about how the problem would get fixed and we are in a perfect location and shouldn’t want to move rooms. After 3 more days without sleeping with bugs they returned on our final night. I woke up with termites crawling all over me and the bed which was extremely unsettling! We called the front desk and they sent someone up to spray and the man sprayed what spelled like cinnamon all over the room. I didnt think that was going to help so I sprayed my own bug repellent all over the headboard where the termites seemed to be living, which held them at bay for the night. Onto some other issues. The A/C only goes down to 75°F which may not be a problem for some but it was for my wife and I. The resort is located in a swampy area which attracts mosquitoes which means you will get eating alive like my wife, sister and I did. Almost EVERYONE smokes everywhere including at the buffet, all around the pool, in the pool, bars, lobby and the beach. Most people just throw their cigarette butts wherever they please. There is no way to get away from all the smokers unless you stay in your room. Workers do not keep pool very clean. Cigarette ash throughout entire pool and algae growing in shallow part of pool. The door to our room had to be slammed as hard as possible just to get it to latch, thus most likely waking up the neighbors in the morning and just being a nuisance all around. Now for the pros. No matter which bar you go too the drinks are always strong. We enjoyed the entertainment staff and they did do their absolute best to get people to participate and have fun! The grounds were always well kept and very beautiful. We enjoyed having access to the sister resort as their restaurants were a bit better than Punta Cana’s. I highly recommend finding Maria Luis or Nelson and they will take care of you drink wise. The buffet staff was always accommodating and very sweet. We also found the buffet was pretty good. Great beach. The pool area is awesome with a swim up bar. And the staff are amazing. Especially Alexander. He helped us right away when we showed up early. All the staff are truly amazing. Whether they are trying to sign you up for pool games or night events in the lobby, the staff has a way of making you feel at home.

Amazing time. Great staff great people. Comfortable quiet stay. A lot to do and a lot to see. Alexander and Hector at the Front helped us out the entire trip. Anything we needed they had our back. Will be back in the near future. Thank you so much!
