Das Hotel ist alt, es wird immer mal da oder dort was repariert oder ausgetauscht. Es war sauber mit einem unangenehmen Duft nach Klostein. Waschbecken dicht aber total versprungen. Lüftung / Klimaanlage war nicht zum laufen zu bringen. Ein bisschen frische Luft haben wir mit offener Terrassetür bekommen, bei Dauerregen war das Dachfenster dich sehr laut.

To begin with the positive - the staff are wonderful. Very friendly , helpful & hardworking. They deal with quite a few groups, which must have it's special challenges. The location is excellent & the views are spectacular. It's a nice old hotel with real character, but showing it's age in places. It is very clean. They repaired my TV promptly. The complaints are few & not really major. My bathroom was quite small, with a small quadrant shower with quite a high sill that I kept catching my foot on quite painfully. The shower itself had a really small head & little pressure. The walls are thin & not soundproofed, so I got a lot of TV noise until quite late at night & could clearly hear conversation in rooms alongside mine. I really hate noisy hotel rooms, but the corridors are carpeted, so no footstep noise. We had breakfast & evening meal. Breakfast was fine, but the coffee was awful. I didn't particularly enjoy the evening meals which were often lukewarm. It is very much meat oriented with veal & beef, plus a couple of nights of fish. I tried out what they called omelettes. They were really awful, small round "cakes" not freshly cooked, leathery rather than fluffy & with frozen macedoine veg. There was no coffee after the meal & we were very clealy asked to leave so they could lay up for breakfast. There is an "a la carte menu", so I suppose we have to pay the price of being in a group with another big group there at the same time. I loved the area & enjoyed my stay. It is a 3 star hotel.

Personnel très accueillant et à disposition. Petite chambre propre, literie confortable. Au bord de la route, un peu bruyant, mais OK avec fenêtres fermées. Parking gratuit et surveillé derrière l'entrée principale. Point négatif: la nourriture très simple et clairement orientée car-tour. D'ailleurs la majorité des clients sont des grands groupes. Petit-déjeuner très basique.

Ho pernottato in questo hotel un paio di notti come guida di un vivace e consistente gruppo di turisti. Camere rinnovate e semplici, gli spazi comuni sono ampi e confortevoli, adatti per degustare un buon aperitivo o rilassarsi. Ho molto apprezzato l'ampia scelta di libri a disposizione degli ospiti, nella sala riscaldata dal fuoco di un caminetto. Ma la ciliegina sulla torta è il personale di sala: una cortesia ed attenzione rara, anche rispetto ad intolleranze ed allergie. E, ovviamente, la posizione eccezionale vista lago, ineguagliabile.

De ligging van het hotel is erg leuk: echt aan de boulevard. Wel een drukke weg tussen hotel en boulevard. Het hotel is op de begane grond erg ruim, met grote eetzalen en diverse zitkamers, bar etc. Ook in de tuin kun je zitten. Er is ook een zwembad in een hoger gelegen stuk van de tuin. De hotelkamers zijn van erg groot (aan de boulevardkant) met grote terrassen, tot piepkleine eenpersoonskamers zonder balkon, en alles wat daartussen zit. Ik had helaas een kleine eenpersoons kamer zonder balkon, ondanks de toeslag die betaald moet worden voor gebruik door 1 persoon. Het eten was erg goed, en het personeel lijkt dag en nacht te werken. Aan de boulevard zijn diverse eet-en drinkgelegenheden, o.a. Cava, vlak tegenover het hotel, waar ze o.a. lekkere cocktails schenken.

The food was not very good. Also the bar closed at 10pm which is totally ridiculous when ur supposed to b on holiday. Have to say Maria was an outstanding member of staff, so friendly and always smiling and helpful

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt an der Promenade vom Lago Maggiore mit super freundlichem Personal und neu renovierten Zimmern und Badezimmer. Poollandschaft klein aber gepflegt uns sauber. Auch Hunde sind hier herzlich Willkommen. Restaurant im Hotel sehr empfehlenswert. Preise für Getränke, Wein und Bier völlig in Ordnung. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We loved staying in this hotel, the room was spacious with an AMAZING view! The transport links were great with a direct bus to the airport, the restaurants and bars around were fantastic. The staff at the hotel were very attentive, extremely helpful and friendly. 10/10 recommend for a lovely relaxing stay
