Nice and decent hotel, near Miami Long Beach north entrance. Close to shopping mall, a lot of shops and good restaurants.

My family and I stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel Bay Harbor multiple times and never stops surprising us. Comfortable rooms, excellent cleaning service, great location since it is walking distance to Bal Harbour shops and memorable front desk receptionist like Rosario and Marco.

The room was clean, the view was nice, and staff were polite. However, the valet drained my car battery and then insisted it was an alternator failure, even though the vehicle is only two years old. I resolved it myself with a simple battery replacement, which confirmed the issue was caused by valet handling. Management granted a late checkout but offered no accountability or reimbursement. Leaving this here so future guests are aware that valet mishandling can disable your vehicle entirely, and the staff may not take responsibility.

The floor is warped in the room we stayed in. And the air conditioning unit was pouring water onto the floor in the middle of the night

We had problems with the valet parking. Make sure you drive a SMALL vehicle. We got stuck parking in a city parking lot across the street and having to re-up my parking permit every 3 hours. Front staff and valet staff was rude when talking with me about this at the desk.
Breakfast options were poor. All carbs, no protein choices. Good if you like a muffin, bagel and a side of waffle/pancake and cereal. Warm options did not look that good enticing

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel and was planning to write a positive review, as the overall experience was nice. However, I was surprised to find a charge of $10.90 on my bill for something I was not informed about. No one mentioned any additional fees during my stay. I emailed Reservations about this charges but have not heard back. This unexpected charge is quite disappointing and has affected my otherwise favorable impression.
