Great place to stay, everything was top standard, breakfast was excellent and owners couldnt be nicer. Bed was comfortable and everything clean and tidy. Easy walk to restaurant and had a good meal. Would certainly stay there again

One of the best overnight stays we have ever had,everything was perfect,the room the large very comfortable bed,the sofa bed for our eleven year old,the view from room 6 spectacular,especially with the thunder and lightning show,put on as our son said” just for us.A well stocked breakfast room in the morning glorious! A huge Thankyou to Sharon and Shane,we will return !

Attending a tangihanga in Dargaville so stayed out at Sunset View Lodge at Baylys Beach. Baylys is one of my favourite places on the planet and the Sunset View provides the best option for accomodation in my opinion. And truly, the sunsets can be amazing.

We had a fantastic stay - Sharron & Shane are so welcoming. The Surf Suite was spotless with a lovely ocean / countryside view. The room was so quiet, we enjoyed a great sleep. Complimentary breakfast hit the spot each morning! Sunset View Lodge is located close to the beach, and a short walk to Sharkeys restaurant/takeaway/dairy. It’s 30 mins by car to Kai-Iwi Lakes. We look forward to staying again - thank you.
