It just needs to be redone. The National Park Service recommended this hotel to us when we couldn’t get into Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel. I looked at other options (should have looked harder) and decided to risk it for one night. The rooms are old, not “completely remodeled” as promised. Wood panelling, matching floors, rough/worn trim, 70s bedspreads, greyed sheets, stained chairs … it just makes you feel like everything is dirty even if it’s actually not. I wanted it to be the cool Area 51 inspired motel it was supposed to be but was disappointed. We put off going back to the rooms as late as we could and then left before sunrise. Sigh.

Better than the Luxall in Vegas great room lovely host and a peaceful night's sleep without the aliens getting me. I would go back here if I was in the area again. If you like something that's a little different and well worth the money then this is the place to be.

Very nice, clean and pet friendly you can even pet the wild donkeys 🫏 that are walking around. Will definitely stay again. The desk turned us on to the VFW who have a great food menu along with a full bar.

Motel très calme et très bien situé (300m de restaurants et station service). Check-in tardif (20h30) clef disponible à l’accueil en boîte aux lettres. Chambre très confortable et bien insonorisée. Budget très abordable. Personnel accueillant.

The good: even though it’s old it’s very clean. Plenty of hot water. Comfy bed. Great customer service. The questionable: my room did not have a light blocking window covering. The curtain was black and when it was dark and the light was on you could kinda see into the room, not clearly though. I was careful about where I changed so it was ok, but it was weird. Heater made lots of noise and took forever to heat the room. No in room coffee, they had it in the office after 7:30 am.

We recently had the privilege to stay two nights at The Atomic Inn. We were especially delighted with the excellent customer service provided by Brandon. Upon checking in, Brandon went to our room and exchanged out the heating unit for one that would warm our room quicker. We just loved the retro look and the clean room with the microwave and refrigerator. We wholeheartedly would recommend staying at The Atomic Inn.

My school camping trip of 25 needed to seek shelter from 2 days of high winds and rapidly approaching rain in Death Valley. Our tents were flattened by 50 MPH wind and filled with dust. We had to swing a plan B before the rain hit. I called the Atomic Inn, and Brandon listened to my desperate situation. He called me back in less than 15 minutes, and had figured out a way to fit us all in. Fortunately the road to Beatty, which had been closed for months, opened up about an hour before I called! When we arrived, we figured out who would go where, and set to getting roofs over heads before the rain deluged the region. Jen, Brandon , Brown, and the other staff had helpful suggestions about places to eat and driving distances to various points of interest. Our stay at the Atomic inn was not planned, but it is now legendary in the lore of our school's Death Valley trip. The atomic inn was a comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay, and I will forever be grateful to Brandon for making it work out. THANK YOU ATOMIC INN!

After some pretty mediocre motel stays - it was fantastic to come to one where the owners took care of their guests. The room was very comfortable, fantastic view of the sunset and donkeys walking past in the morning. Great advice as to where to have our evening meal (VFW centre in Beatty) - good sense of travelling rather than just being a visitor. I would 100% recommend.
