Beaufort Hotel

Overall the most comfortable stay in years. Hotel has created and maintained an atmosphere that is upscale yet comfortable and friendly. Room was great. Restaurant and bar excellent. Excellent choice for a couple or if you need a small venue for almost any special date. Parking is a little sp**** so consider using valet parking for convince. Marina next door offers all types of opportunities is you are a boater. This is a hotel that seems to be a part of the community and surrounding area. On my "be back" list.

Great hotel but there’s no parking lot they have a lot that you can park in but there’s easily a 1/4 mile walk from the parking lot to the front desk. Terrible setup. The hotel itself is great.

Do not get book the bottom floor rooms. They have water bugs/roaches coming in from the balcony. Checked in but family decided not to stay. No refund was given.

Outstanding facilities and staff. Great wine and whisky bar. Thanks to Susan in the restaurant. They want 200 characters but I've said it all. 10 / 10. 75 more to go. Friendly, Just Outstanding. Loved it. Beautiful grounds. Wish I had seen the wild horses across the river.

Beautiful property on Taylor’s Creek. Very clean room and nicely decorated for Christmas!!

From the accommodations and amenities to the staff and service, Beaufort Hotel is a nice place to stay. Close to everything but far enough away to be private. The valet service was a very hard working team. Thank you for a great visit.

This is my second time to The Beaufort Hotel in a month and I’m already looking forward to returning! The hotel is beautiful, clean and has the most amazing views. I do recommend a water view room. The restaurant is amazing and Zack and Chris at the bar will whip you up an incredible drink. These two bartenders are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met and go above and beyond each time we see them. I also have to recognize Janie, one of the hard working valet employees. As the first person you encounter when you arrive at the hotel, Janie sets the tone for the hotel and your upcoming stay. She was so sweet, helpful and accommodating and we really appreciated her starting our vacation off on such a positive note.

We booked a waterfront room on line, but ended up with a room overlooking the parking lot. The rooms are nice and comfortable, but we were very disappointed in the service for this caliber of hotel. Apparently others have complained about the parking issues for several years and nothing has changed. It's obvious the owners dont intend to change the parking issue if you don't pay for valet service. We were told that the hotel doesnt own the lot behind the hotel used for valet parking but it is managed by the valet company, (you must walk down the road several blocks to an unsecured lot if not using valet). Since we had a room overlooking the lot, we watched the parking. I personally am glad we didnt use their service after watching them recklessly handling several of the patron's vehicles. With COVID still being an issue, there are vehicle owners, like us, that don't want strangers driving their vehicles. Also, the hotel uses the front building for storage for wedding venue furnishings. They could allow the customers to park in that lot they are charging extra for valet service, but chose not to do so. The restaurant, only a few years old, had a low sanitary rating. There was not a hostess available for dinner or breakfast, nor was complimentary coffee offered in the lobby for customers. The manager was not present the entire time we stayed (one night). There are management issues and there appears to be greed issues with whoever owns/runs the property. Please change the way you operate. You are located too far away from town to continue this. We won't return until there are improvements for customers.

Booked a room with pull out bed. Got back from a long day with kids, and no sheets available for pull out couch, even though I had booked room for 4. Housekeeping took a while to arriveu so I went to front desk to check on ETA only to deal with a very surly manager who seemed to have no empathy for the situation and didn’t offer any sort of apology for lack of sheets or length of time I took new sheets to arrive. I would have expected a higher level of hospitality from a place like this.
