Beaune is always a good stop being the half way point to the South of France. I have stayed at Hotel de La Paix a number of times because of its central location to the restaurants, secure car park, consistent quality of service. The breakfast is also very good and well priced. Well done!

Wir haben das Hotel online gebucht, eine Bestätigung per email bekommen und als wir mit unseren zwei kleinen Kindern abends um 22:30 ankamen (check-in 22:00 - 24:00), sagte man uns, dass die Buchung nicht akzeptiert wird und es kein Zimmer für uns gibt.
Das war sehr enttäuschend und so mussten wir nach bereits 500 gefahrenen km noch weitere 600 in der Nacht fahren, um nach Hause zu kommen.

L’hôtel est super bien placé car vous pouvez tout faire à pied. Les restaurants, les hospices, le musée du vin et les caves de Beaune. Les chambres sont correctes même si j’avais des doutes sur le lavage des verres dans la salle de bain. La Clim ne fonctionnait pas dans notre chambre mais nous n’avons même pas pu le signaler tant le personnel de l’hôtel était perdu. Ce n’était pas vraiment un manque de personnel malgré ce grand week end de pont mais surtout un manque de professionnalisme. Ils étaient tous perdus que ce soit au petit déjeuner où les tables n’étaient pas débarrassées, les boissons pas ravitaillées … ou à l’accueil où on ne nous a même pas indiqué où était notre chambre et j’ai du calculer notre facture moi même (heureusement que je suis honnête) car au début ils ne facturaient que la moitié et ont du s’y reprendre à 4 fois. Bref hôtel correct mais personnel à former d’urgence

J'avais demandé le parking pour 2 'uits, on m'a dit que c'était ok. 1er soir, difficile de se garer à cause d'une voiture mal garée : on m'a dit qu'il y a eu un couac sur les places dispo. 2eme soir, aucune place disponible pour moi : c'était donc pas un couac mais plutôt un sur Booking. Très agaçant. Sinon,le frigo delà.chambre avait un tupperware qui devait être là depuis très très longtemps, avec du pain moisi dedans. J'oublie, le 2eme matin du petit déj' où des clients ont du anticiper gentiment leur départ pour qu'on puisse s'assoir. La gestion de l'hôtel semble être très lointaine et priorité à la rentabilité, pas au client.

Sadly our least favourite hotel of the holiday. It didnt start great as we pulled into the carpark and a very friendly rat was sat waiting to great us. We pulled in to a space and walked into the hotel. The gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful as much as he could be. On receiving keys i asked about the bar as it had been a long drive. Sadly this was closed (and did not open). The restaurant also did not open. We walked to our room via two flights of stairs with some difficulty due to lack of a lift but the gentleman on duty did assist and was again very helpful. The room was spacious, plush and modern. Sadly though the toilet which was located between rooms had a door that did not lock and would not close, as soon as you took your hand off it it slid entirely open. In addition to the toilet issue there was no kettle and breakfast opened later than we needed to leave at 7:30am. I asked for a kettle which they found but sadly had no coffee or milk. The room was listed with minibar but it did not have one of those either. The strength of this review is mainly based on value for money, yes the room was spacious and well decorated but for the money (€200) everything else just lacked, especially when we had spent €175 elsewhere a previous night and enjoyed the same size room with full facilities.

This hotel is located a short walk from the city center full of shopping, dining, and bars. There is onsite parking, and during our stay, we didn't see or hear anyone else, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. There is also a great bakery right across the street to get a coffee and pastry, or ask the friendly owner to make a sandwich for your lunch while touring local wineries.
