I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, especially the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the Housekeeping staff. Highly recommended, I will definitely come back for vacation. Weiter so!!!

Pros: Clean, comfortable room Wi-Fi works Cons: The food at breakfast is very monotonous day after day and there is a small selection of low quality dishes. The beach bar is abandoned. Beach: 1 we went for two days and the sunbeds were free 2 on the third day a beach employee came up and said that now a sunbed on the 1st line was 20€, from the second line 15€. The next day they already asked for 20 € for line 2. In response to this whole situation, the reception commented that they could not provide all guests with sunbeds, so they made everyone pay for everything (although the hotel is almost empty). In general, I do not recommend this hotel

We spent 8 pleasant days in this hotel with our children who had a great time swimming in the large pool and were well entertained by the hotel's entertainment team. Very rich breakfast in the morning and with a wide choice of fruit and fresh products, just how I like it. Staff very attentive to the needs of tourists. The hotel has a private beach connected directly to the accommodation facility.

The hotel is enough good one, near the sea, it's only 2-3 min. to the beach, and has a private beach, true no one checks whether you are a guest or not, but anyway. Has 2 pools, and the water was very clean, area also, but has a few animations for the guests. During our trip, we met 2 times at an evening concert and once at a national dance evening. The rooms were very comfortable, and modern. And the small balconies are the best with amazing views. The meal was very good, we have breakfast and dinner, the buffet was so different every day, and full of seafood. I adore the meal. But think not the best choice if you're with kids. So I'll return to the hotel once be in Monte***** again.

When I think about our vacation, I see both light and shadow. I would have actually expected more from a Falkensteiner hotel, as I really appreciate this chain and we often book there (Katschberg, Croatia highly recommended). This hotel does not fit into the category of the other hotels, although the rooms and pools were clean and all the staff were friendly throughout. We made the mistake of going to Becici / Budva in August. It is super crowded this month (especially the Balkans) - we didn't know that as newcomers to Monte*****. Also that after the Corona crisis it is incredibly difficult to get well-trained staff for a 4-star level. If you put that into perspective, then everything is relative. Monte***** cannot be compared to Croatia. In that respect, the price/performance ratio for the hotel is justified, but outside the hotel everything is much more expensive than in Germany, similar to Croatia. We were really disappointed with the food! Lots of all kinds of filling material such as potatoes, rice and pasta, very little variety in meat and fish, once in 8 days there were unpeeled, smaller scampi of the 3rd class, the next day again cold. In our opinion, they saved a lot on food. The only bright spot for the children: pizza stone oven with black pizza! Very nice chef and friendly and patient with the children. There were 2 girls who did "entertainment" - no childcare. They jumped around the pool with the children for 1 hour every 2 days. They were very friendly, but they had no training. When I compare that with our favorite entertainer Isi at Katschberg Funimation, I can only shake my head. But ultimately we had a pretty good rest in the 8 days. We only recommend the hotel if you want to experience the hustle and bustle of Becici or ******. Warning: From 2023, the amazing view will be completely blocked by disgusting apartment high-rises! (see video) That hurts the heart... Parking costs 10 euros extra per day! Very positive: The pool tipped over in the hottest month and it was immediately closed and refilled instead of shock chlorination...very wise! Beach: Very loud due to lots of motorboats and jet skis, but the crowd density in the own section of the beach is OK! Expensive drinks on the beach and no WiFi. Conclusion: In loud Becici, this hotel is actually the best of the ones we saw, Monte*****: always, Becici never!

Dirty hotel (bath tub not cleaned for a week, same as floor, etc.) Cockroaches in the room, broken toilet flush - was not repaired all week. Shower head is like in the GDR times. The staff are completely disinterested. Meal times in the evening 7 - 9.30, by 8 there was no meat left - it was gone. Sometimes bread from the day before is provided. Orange juice is diluted with at least 50% water. And, and... The hotel is a complete disaster!

We stayed for one night on a tour. The hotel itself has an average location - not close to the beach but walkable. There is a shop nearby to purchase drinks and snacks. The public areas are nice enough although the WiFi near the pool was useless. And the pool closes at 7pm which is very early! The pool area has a lovely view but be warned - this will shortly disappear with a huge building construction right in front. Our group had mixed feelings about their rooms. Some were happy with a view, our room was old and smelly (musty). On the ground floor about as far as you could walk with some shrubs outside and glimpses of some other buildings. Our air conditioner and TV weren’t working. Whilst they were fixed it just felt like this room had not been used for some time. Breakfast was good. Perhaps if we hadn’t been allocated such a horrible room we would have been happier but regardless, once that pool view disappears the selling point of the hotel is gone.

I had an excellent stay in the hotel. I particularly liked its location (close to the beach but protected from the noise of the street), the professionnal skills of the entire team (discreet but efficient and always willing to help), its cleanliness, the design of the lobby and the rooms (soft colors), the diversity and quality of food displayed in the buffet, the two simming pools and the fact that there is a good wine shop in the hotel itself.

I would like to point out that I have already been a customer of the Flankesteiner chain several times, but for the first time (but also the last) at the Monte***** one. Let's start with PARKING, absolutely ineffective for all hotel guests. This is mandatory, paying €10 per day separately. So far it could be fine, if only there was room without problems! After a certain time, it is practically impossible to find a parking space, so much so that you find cars parked in very imaginative ways, without any order and with the very high risk of finding the car damaged (damages that you will pay and certainly not the 'hotel…). Instead of dedicating an area to a garden that is "invaded" by cars, it would be more appropriate to build a car park adequate for the capacity of the hotel. The DESIGN of the hotel is modern, with very effective colors and furnishings. Large common areas, air conditioned throughout. The staff (boys/girls) of the RESTAURANT (and the BAR) seemed asleep and very listless, not attentive to the customer. The service was buffet style. The dishes piled up on the tables without any waiter bothering to remove them. I tried to order a drink several times, but receiving no attention, I preferred not to order any more extras at the table. I only saw one person working tirelessly, probably the room manager who covered everything the young staff didn't want to do. The tables looked like they were being attacked by hordes of barbarians and the restaurant staff did nothing to clean and prepare for the next guests. In a 4 star hotel, in my opinion, you cannot eat with just a fork and a knife all the time! Never mind the placemat and paper napkin that made a lot of the company canteen: very sad! The food, on the other hand, was very good, the ingredients were all of the highest quality, and the quantity of food, ensuring you go quite early, was optimal for the numerous guests. The table service, I repeat, was extremely poor, especially since the hotel is a 4 star. Dishes piled up at the edge of the table, with the waiter passing by, looking, but not bothering to remove anything. If you go early, you will find the tables sufficiently set, with two forks and two knives. After the first hour, you won't find anything, and you will almost have to beg for at least a fork and a knife. The RECEPTION does not offer tour proposals to the Monte**** locations, and unless you ask what you would like to visit (I am abroad and do I have to ask where you want to go???) you will not have much information. The maps of the area will be kept in a chest because, just by asking, they will give them to you. There are no organized tours to visit Mount*****, therefore, do-it-yourself is imperative and indispensable if you don't want to spend your entire stay in the hotel. The ROOM was very clean, and the cleaning was done impeccably. Congratulations to the staff
