I would like to point out that I have already been a customer of the Flankesteiner chain several times, but for the first time (but also the last) at the Monte***** one. Let's start with PARKING, absolutely ineffective for all hotel guests. This is mandatory, paying €10 per day separately. So far it could be fine, if only there was room without problems! After a certain time, it is practically impossible to find a parking space, so much so that you find cars parked in very imaginative ways, without any order and with the very high risk of finding the car damaged (damages that you will pay and certainly not the 'hotel…). Instead of dedicating an area to a garden that is "invaded" by cars, it would be more appropriate to build a car park adequate for the capacity of the hotel. The DESIGN of the hotel is modern, with very effective colors and furnishings. Large common areas, air conditioned throughout. The staff (boys/girls) of the RESTAURANT (and the BAR) seemed asleep and very listless, not attentive to the customer. The service was buffet style. The dishes piled up on the tables without any waiter bothering to remove them. I tried to order a drink several times, but receiving no attention, I preferred not to order any more extras at the table. I only saw one person working tirelessly, probably the room manager who covered everything the young staff didn't want to do. The tables looked like they were being attacked by hordes of barbarians and the restaurant staff did nothing to clean and prepare for the next guests. In a 4 star hotel, in my opinion, you cannot eat with just a fork and a knife all the time! Never mind the placemat and paper napkin that made a lot of the company canteen: very sad! The food, on the other hand, was very good, the ingredients were all of the highest quality, and the quantity of food, ensuring you go quite early, was optimal for the numerous guests. The table service, I repeat, was extremely poor, especially since the hotel is a 4 star. Dishes piled up at the edge of the table, with the waiter passing by, looking, but not bothering to remove anything. If you go early, you will find the tables sufficiently set, with two forks and two knives. After the first hour, you won't find anything, and you will almost have to beg for at least a fork and a knife. The RECEPTION does not offer tour proposals to the Monte**** locations, and unless you ask what you would like to visit (I am abroad and do I have to ask where you want to go???) you will not have much information. The maps of the area will be kept in a chest because, just by asking, they will give them to you. There are no organized tours to visit Mount*****, therefore, do-it-yourself is imperative and indispensable if you don't want to spend your entire stay in the hotel. The ROOM was very clean, and the cleaning was done impeccably. Congratulations to the staff
