Loved it! Highly recommend. Super easy to get into town on DLR, and amazing breakfast. Lovely to watch swimmers go past. Staff really lovely and very helpful. Am booking to go again. Rooms not vast, but not too small and absolutely fine (shared a twin room with a pal).

Overall, my stay at Dreamtel London Kensington Hotel was a mixed experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic, making it convenient to explore the vibrant neighborhood and nearby attractions. However, I was disappointed with the amenities provided. Several issues were encountered, including broken table lamps and a malfunctioning hairdryer. With some improvements to the amenities, particularly ensuring that all equipment is in proper working order, Dreamtel London Kensington Hotel has the potential to provide a more satisfactory guest experience.

For us the hotel was quite good. We were there 3 nights. Greenwich station is less than 2 minutes away and takes you to the centre. Overall the hotel was clean. The staff was nice. Unfortunately, the breakfast does not offer a large selection. I was missing more vegetables and more cold cuts like cheese or similar. My son was happy with the pancakes. When an adult pays for breakfast, a child eats free ( £8.99 ). The area wasn't so special now. 10 min walk and you will arrive at Cutty Sark. Unfortunately everything was completely closed on Christmas Day, including public transport. That's why we only went for a walk near the hotel that day. The rooms aren't that big, but you only sleep in them and don't stay in them for too long. Unfortunately, the pillows were too hard for us. We are stomach sleepers and our heads were too high. We didn't feel comfortable without it, so we slept with it and this led to back pain. But that's complaining on a high level, because everyone likes pillows, blankets and mattresses differently and in their own way. There are supermarkets nearby. We always go to the Tesco which is 10 minutes away and bought water and snacks for the evening. We would book the hotel again, in contrast to other hotels, it was inexpensive and yet clean and safe.

Quiet in the middle of noisy, it is very convenient to go out on the commercial street. The breakfast is English-style, but the bread is delicious. If you are in a hurry, breakfast can be packed and it is very human. It is very convenient to get to the West Croydon train station. It takes 10 minutes to walk and 18 minutes to Victoria station. Recommended to go to Croydon to study, business people live!

On arrival there was a new girl on Reception (black girl) and she told me that the room I had reserved was room only and I knew I had booked a b&b rate. Although she was very pleasant she said she was new and needed to check with a more experienced receptionist. A white lady came into the reception area and was telling me that the new girl didn't know how to check was was included in the room rate and started showing her - how to check for this while I was there. This white lady (had a foreign accent) was quite abrupt to me and I thought to myself, maybe if you trained the new girl better, she would be able to check these details. The new girl was apologizing, I said to her its not your fault, you need to get trained better in your role. She was a beautiful young girl and very friendly and tried to help as much as she could. The kettle in my room was not working but was replaced quite quickly. I went to get some milk from the trolley and the Housekeeper (Spanish) screamed at me - your are not allowed to touch the trollies and if you need anything, please contact Reception, I said shall I leave it back then and she said - No its OK!. Had to advice Reception if one, needed their room cleaned. Breakfast was nice except the mushrooms they were too hard and difficult to eat. Staff tend to move trollies and talk to each other when guests are around and they use the guest lift as a service lift. They got in the way at times when I was trying to get out of the hotel, they apologized for getting in my way. Majority of staff were friendly, rooms need updating. On my last day, I was getting some tea at breakfast time in the dining area and when I returned a staff member (Small Indian lady) was clearing away my food and I had only went to get a cup of tea and had not finished my breakfast, I told her I was still having my breakfast. I was annoyed as my room card was still on the table but she never noticed this and was clearing it away. They spray and clean empty tables very close to you as you eat your breakfast which is frustrating as the smell of the cleaning liquid is quite strong, It was my first time staying at this hotel, however in the past I have had coffee/tea there but never stayed before. I would rate is as a 3 star Hotel and not a 4 star Hotel.

The staff and the service: totally incredible. The food was average at best, and there weren't many amenities, but it was located very close to 2 train lines which was extremely convenient. If you aren't planning to spend much time in your room, it's a great staging area for heading into London, going to and from the airport, or getting anywhere you need to. Priced right, especially for what you're getting. I would recommend it to friends and I would stay there again myself.

As I was working at a convention at Excel this weekend this hotel is certainly perfectly situated within a 3 min walk. I arrived Friday evening and was met with a completely soulless and uninspired welcome. The room (I was on the 9th floor) was spacious and certainly clean on arrival. I've stayed in several Novotel's recently, but the design here again is lacking in any individuality and feels very oppressive. A large bathroom, lighting was adequate, and for some odd reason the designer felt there was a priority for an electric opaque panel that could allow your guest to watch you shower if they wanted?! Thankfully I was alone, i wouldn't have wanted to share as every time the bathroom is in use the entire room lights up as the light bleeds through the floor to ceiling panel. The bathroom seemed lacking in any toiletries, and had nothing in the shower cubicle so I had to use the hand soap (I normally pack my own but other experiences in this chain gave sufficient toiletry options). In the morning I discovered the drain was blocked and so I partially flooded the bathroom as I hadn't fully noticed, it took nearly 10 minutes for the water to eventually run away. A call to reception got this fixed for my return that evening. Frustratingly as a tea drinker I am always baffled as to how coffee drinkers get so many options, but I only get 2 satchets of breakfast tea. Prob in 7/10 hotels I now stay in housekeeping always fail to acknowledge that I have only drunk tea and don't bother to replenish, something I only discovered as I woke up at 5am. Is it really that hard when they have replaced the milk? My room was warm upon arrival, so I dialled the control off. I woke several times in the morning due to the heat, opening the window made little difference as there is no air flow and just the sound of outside units whirring. I turned the control off but it made no difference and after a weekend its stifling, not helped when housekeeping leave the mirror light on which generates yet more heat. The bar was a miserable experience, the staff are completely unwelcoming, barely speak to you, don't listen to your order and seem unable to even acknowledge you. 2 friends came to meet me on Saturday night and had the same experience so we opted to go to another hotel bar for drinks and food instead. On arrival I had asked for the wine list/bar menu, but was told what I was given was completely outdated and incorrect...so why is it not replaced? Breakfast was OK, again just lacking in any form of customer engagement. All in all it was a functional space with a comfy bed but in this area it comes at a premium. It's a spacious hotel that just lacks any warmth, either in the decor OR in the customer interaction from the staff. I stay in several of the other chain's hotels up and down the country so was a little surprised by this experience, I won't be staying here again on my next visit to Excel.

We are 100% satisfied with our 5 nights stay with Cheval, the best service apartments hotel in London overlooking tower of bridge and tower of london. WE FEEL LIKE HOME. The best location in London. 2 mins walk to Tower of London 5 mins walk to tower bridge. A pier infornt of the hotel which takes us toany attractions by uber boat. The restaurant downstair is fabulous and we celebrated our son's 17th birthday. They serve best pasta. We booked 2 bedrooms apartments and were assigned 7 G very spacious room with fabulous river view.The rooms are equipped with highest facilities great amenities [ top quality shower gel lotion slipper, bath ropes 3pin plug and super super comfortable bed and pillow. ] Their kitchen is very modern equipped with dish washer, fridge and all utensils. They have very big laundry room. We booked Cheval Grand Edinburgh as well for 2 nights stay. Worth the price.

To whom it may concern I wish to complain about my experience with the Canary Wharf point A hotel on the 24th of March. I was very disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism members of staff showed me and my friends during our short time at the hotel. Firstly, we got told to turn the music down which I totally understand and respected, after turning the music right down we get another knock on the door and once again it was security and a female member of staff claiming we were doing drugs and smoking (which really upset and offended me as I have recently lost a close friend to drug use). I offered them to come and search the room to prove we had no drugs and weren’t smoking but they were having none of it and told us we had to leave. To make it even worse they also made my other two friends leave who were in a totally separate room with no reason or evidence of this supposed drug use and smoking. I tried explaining that we have travelled from Sunderland and would be stranded with no where to stay but I was ignored and told to leave. Before we left the same female member of staff told us the manager has told them to make us leave she then gave us a card with a number to get hold of the manager which we rung immediately after leaving. If our experience with the hotel and service wasn’t bad enough, we then get told on the phone there’s no manager in the building which makes me believe the manager never told anyone to kick us out. In total we spent around 2 hours in the hotel and when I asked about getting a refund I got totally blanked and ignored. I have also emailed Canary Wharf point A hotel to express my disappointment with how we were treated but have not received a reply at this moment. Parking was easy, check-in swift and friendly and my room, as usual at this hotel, was clean, comfortable and very well presented. The server at dinner made sure I was happy with the table location, took my order, was engaged in her work and demonstrated great pride in her efforts to ensure customer satisfaction... the food and drink were both very enjoyable and filling too. The same can also be said for the breakfast team and content. Although it is of the buffet style the selection is wide, environment spotlessly clean and the team constantly busy ensuring everything is fresh and plentiful. Also, omlettes are cooked to order as a house speciality, yum! This hotel and it's staff are a gleaming example of how to make its patrons feel valued whilst not simpering or smothering guests. This is a hotel to strongly recommend. Thanks to all at HH, Croydon, see you soon I hope.
