Blue Forest Lane

So the pictures of blue forest lane B&B look very nice indeed. The attitudes of the owners leave a lot to be desired and honestly the food wasn't that good at all...very overrated but it was passable for a night as I planned on getting a room elsewhere the next day. 20 minutes after lights out as I was falling asleep I felt several stinging bites....bedbugs. I immediately got up and left and threw all my clothing in the garbage as BB can hitchhike on your luggage...best avoided in my opinion.The rooms smelt musky and had a fair amount of dust throughout

Staying at the Blue Forest Lane B & B raised the B & B bar for me. This is a beautifully maintained home and property nestled in a woodsy back drop. Welcoming hosts and delicious breakfasts. Although a distance from Halifax, worth exploring this lovely area.

We recently returned from our east coast vacation. What a beautiful holiday. Even though we ended the last few days hunkered down thru Fiona. We were so fortunate to start our holiday by staying at Blue Forest Lane. Brent and his wife were absolutely amazing from the time we walked in until we left. Our room was the garden room. HUGE. They have kept the ambience of the home, beautiful. Brent was a host to the nth degrees, always made sure his guests were comfortable at the breakfast table , chatting and sharing their holiday experiences. Then off to the kitchen to present us with fabulous breakfasts. Thank you for starting our vacation with the feeling of welcome and warmth. Note: take a leisurely walk thru the garden- gorgeous

My wife and I stayed for two nights during our honeymoon. We had long days planned, and savoring Brent's breakfasts was the perfect way to begin them. In the evenings we enjoyed listening to Wanda and Brent share about the home and their life here. A lovely time all around - I'd absolutely stay here again.
