The hotel has complete facilities and the rooms are clean and tidy; the bathrooms are separated from wet and dry areas, making your stay very comfortable. The service is warm and thoughtful; the breakfast has many varieties and tastes good; the transportation is convenient, and there is a bus stop at the door. Personally, I think the price/performance ratio is quite high. It is recommended to choose IU Hotel.

This was my third trip here in as many weeks, and let me say that this is an outstanding hotel. In a city not known for luxury, the Shangri-La does an outstanding job. Their service is top notch - from the front desk, to room service, housekeeping, to the pool area. The pool attendants are vigilant about the rules, which I like! There really ain’t a beach to speak of here, as there is a (still) unfinished construction project just offshore, but it is fun to talk around at low tide and see the fish/crabs. A hotel attendant is there with plastic bins for people to catch things, which I did not like because it is wasteful of plastic and encourages people to keep/kill wildlife. Other than that, the hotel is great. Go yourself a favor and book a deluxe room, which are on the higher floors and have an awesome view of the sunset. The rooms are impeccably clean and luxurious, too. Great time here!

The hotel was newly opened at the end of September. It is very convenient for visiting Beihai Old Street. The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is new, and the boss is also very nice. My family traveled to Guangxi and booked two rooms. We stayed here for three days. I temporarily stored my luggage for the next night, went to Weizhou Island and stayed for another two nights when I came back. We were given the same room as before. Thank you very much! Will recommend it to others if I have the chance

Advantages: The accommodation environment is very good, the view from the hotel balcony is also very beautiful, and the attitude of the staff is also very good. It's about half an hour walk from the old street, which is quite close. Disadvantages: The external unit of the air conditioner is a bit noisy, and you will hear the whirring sound at night, which has little effect, but the light sleeper may not be able to stand it.

Let’s talk about the shortcomings first: I had to wait more than ten minutes for the hotel pick-up car to arrive. It was a hot day, and the check-in was very, very slow. The room I was given at the beginning was a simple 3-bedroom apartment, which was not as good as the demolished house in my hometown. It also had a strong smell. The decoration smell! Later, I reported to Ctrip and the hotel that the room was different from the description of the room I booked, so I waited for three hours to change my room. But the sea view is basically invisible. The newly opened room still smelled like decoration, but it was much better than the first one, but it must have been renovated not long ago. On the third day of my stay, my throat started to hurt. I don’t know if the smell was irritating, which caused me I started to have a fever on the way back. . Furthermore, there was the sound of decoration work in the morning, which started at eight or nine o'clock, with banging and hammering. I can’t take a good rest during the holidays! Absolutely noisy! Other minor disadvantages include the air conditioner not having a timer function, the room not having a trash can, the bathroom not having a towel rack, so you have to clean it yourself, etc. As for the advantages, the hotel is more of an apartment style, not a B&B. There are many auxiliary facilities downstairs. If you rent a car, you can park it in the underground garage, which is convenient for travel. It is indeed very close to the beach. It is very convenient for children to go downstairs to the beach. The pick-up and drop-off service is also available, after all, it saves us a fee. There is a swimming pool downstairs in the hotel, which friends who like swimming and soaking in water will probably like. The Soviet-style garden built above the service floor is also a nice sight. The overall area is relatively large, with a home-like layout. You can still take a look at the pictures, but the feeling of staying here may vary from person to person. The next four pictures are the rooms from the beginning. It’s almost impossible to see the white-walled humble house in comparison.

5 minutes walk from the old street where you can enjoy a night walk. Lot of seafood restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. The front desk is very nice and welcoming, offered us free breakfasts where you can find a really good variety of food. and added our wechat in case needed any help. If you go there Mr Yuan yuan shan at the front desk will surely make you feel like home. He is so freindly and helpful.

It just happened to be a typhoon day, so I stayed in the hotel all the time, but there are indeed beautiful scenery to see! There is also a terrace, but it was raining too much, so I didn’t stay on the terrace much, so I just sat in the room and watched it. The service attitude is very good, responsive to every request. Because of the typhoon, some facilities had some problems, but they were resolved in a timely manner

The room is super comfortable. The service is as good as ever. You can always believe that Huazhu Club! Facilities: The gym is very clean. The washing machine dryer is very complete. There is no need to queue up. Free bags and various laundry detergent & ironing machines are very easy to use! I forgot to dry the clothes after washing. I went back and found that the staff had helped me dry and fold it. Hygienic: The room is very clean, there is no sanitary corner, there is no dust in the charging plug, the whole hotel is fragrant, the first floor shared toilet is also cleaned in real time Environment: I like this decoration style very much. The location of the hotel is also very good. The nearby snack shop is very cost-effective. Every time I go out, I have to go shopping. I can buy a big pocket for 20 yuan! The rice noodle shop next to it is also delicious. It costs 4 yuan 😭 It is very convenient to walk to the old street & Beibuwan Square. It is all delicious! It’s great to walk to see the sea. Service: Although Huazhu's service is as good as ever, I still feel a lot of warmth above expectations in this house! The aunt who cleaned the room helped me fold the clothes and put them on the side. The aunt who cleaned the first floor would praise me for being beautiful. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. No matter how early or late, I would go out and come back, I would have a greeting 🫂 When filling in the luggage storage form, I casually said a pen was very useful. Staff Just gave me one 😭 (Very good, I must give a five-star praise, but it is really my second home all season. I really didn’t take photos. Tong Xuan is not cheating. The service is super perfect. The deceptive person is a puppy! ! !

I chose this Yishang hotel for a trip to Beihai during the New Year's Day holiday. I saw the flagship store on Trip.com, and I didn't feel that it was going anywhere, so I chose it. The result was a surprise in the trip. The hotel is very cost-effective, the room is clean, and there is a refrigerator. Check in and send fruit, there is hot milk at night. Breakfast is a little less than a five-star hotel, and the quality is not much different. Close to the city center, go up to the old city and the outer sand beach. Downstairs is the style street and silver beach, convenient transportation. Especially satisfied, five-star praise, come back next time ～ (I didn't take a photo of the hotel, use other photos to top eight hahaha.)

The reception staff is very helpful, although more English-speaking staff would be advisable as most of the staff does not speak English and it is a 5star hotel. I would like to mention Lisa who speaks English and was very helpful, providing useful information regarding hotel facilities, Covid test places and places of interest. Big up to Lisa! The breakfast buffet is okay, but the pastry choice is a bit limited and, generally, it feels that the hotel does not really cater for western guests (mainly Chinese dishes). The buffet lounge is full of light; it is very spacious and facing the seaside, which is great. However, the cleanliness can be improved as the tables and the floor were not cleaned quickly enough, and my table and the floor under it were greasy/dirty. The facilities are quite varied. The pools, gym, tennis court, steam room were used during my stay and they were in good condition. The steam room takes a long time to heat up though. The staff in the gym/swimming pool does not speak English at all. The table tennis room and some other facilities were under maintanace during our stay, so we did not use them. Overall, the hotel has more recreational facilities than most hotels. Well done! Regarding the location, the hotel is on the coast, but the sea is not swimmable there, so you can only enjoy the view. The hotels near the main Silver beach (for example, Crowne Plaza) are considerably more expensive (about 500rmb difference), so a 30-min taxi ride there (costs around 30 rmb one way) still makes the Furama hotel a much more economical option. The sea view from the rooms is very nice! Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a late checkout was highly appreciated! My rating of the hotel is 4.5.
