Nestled in a deep hutong in Beijing, behind an unassuming entrance, lies a true oasis, like a 'Peach Blossom Spring'. The hotel boasts unique decor, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The staff was friendly, helpful, welcoming from the start. They have a lovely hotel: Peaceful, clean and relaxing. We enjoyed our traditional Chinese breakfast each morning. The beds were comfortable and bottled water was provided each day which was very helpful. It is located on a hutong which is a short walk to a lovely lake which adds to the interest. I highly recommend staying here.

Extremely satisfied with our stay! The location is super convenient, just a short walk to Shichahai. What really stood out was the warm and welcoming front desk staff, they made us feel right at home. A special shout-out to the young lady named Xinxin; she was incredibly enthusiastic, gave us great recommendations for sightseeing routes, and her English was excellent. There are a lot of foreigners staying at this hotel, and last night, my daughter and I were the only Chinese guests.

This hotel is amazing! They have shadow puppet shows every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and guests can watch for free – the kids absolutely loved it. Plus, even Tim Cook has stayed here, and there are lots of foreigners around. You can also try shadow puppet painting for 100 RMB for four pieces. Highly recommend!

I was initially worried about the negative reviews regarding the inconvenient taxi access, but after staying here, I think it's fantastic, especially the shadow puppet show – it left a lasting impression! I truly love this intangible cultural heritage. Plus, Ms. Amy helped me with my luggage when I checked out, and also when I checked in. She's great!

Tucked away in a *hutong*, this hotel is truly a work of art. The lady at the front desk who checked me in was incredibly warm and friendly, going out of her way to recommend great local spots to eat and explore. The room was also spotless. My only regret is that I missed the shadow puppet show (they only have them on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays), but the staff still made sure my child got a special experience with it. I loved it! And the Song brocade and shadow puppet earrings are absolutely gorgeous. I'll definitely be back!
