The room is clean, comfortable, close to tourist attractions, the housekeeper cleans every day, the staff helps throughout the 5 days of stay.

Obviously was once a great hotel and you can see the high quality fittings from a bygone era.
Needs a freshen up , it smells like 20 years of living in the polluted Beijing of the past ( well my room did)
The staff were great and facilities Excellent!
A much needed freshen up of rooms would make it 5 stars all the way.
The area is great with loads of high quality restaurants close.

While the hotel is quite old, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff is indifferent, but this didn’t really bother me as I prefer to be left alone. The location for me was very good, as it’s virtually next door to where I needed to be, and it offers good value for money. I would happily stay here again.

Excellent location, close to everywhere.
Hall way is not too clean with some kind of smell.
The hotel room was very largest.

about ½ mile from nearest subway station, and a pleasant walk. Hotel perhaps a bit rundown from what it was (I've stayed many times over the years), but still quite good, particularly for the price. Excellent breakfast, and quite adequate workout facilities. The pool is small, but very comfortable. Overall, a great choice for this area of the city.
