Resort and room was very clean, with complimentary buffet breakfast that had a wide variety of food (closes 10am), and one complimentary ticket for each person to a hot spring located very nearby. There are also many facilities such as swimming pool, table tennis room and pool table room but they are not equipped when we were there in end December. Location is good within Gubei WTown with the buses going straight to it's doorstep from the visitor centre. In our loft room, the heater was a bit too strong for the beds up in the loft. We could not decrease the temperature for the heater control so we had to turn the heater off and leave the window open to let cool air in.

Gubei Light Resort Hotel is a must-stay hotel every time I come to Gubei Water Town for vacation.
