Shindom Inn (Beijing Qianmen Tianjie) Reviews

A hotel that located at great location. Near to Zhushikou Metro Station with just 5 minutes walk, which you can exchange for line 7 and line 8. There is a convenient store down there, selling drinks, local food and promotion of goods that change everyday. With just 7 minutes walk, you can reach Qianmen street, a famous tourist spot in Beijing. Opposite of the hotel is "LiuXueLu hutong", where you can find delicious local breakfast with cheap prices. For the room, it needs some improvement for the cleanliness, but still acceptable. The employee there are very very helpful, they responded fast when I need help. Overall, a great stay for all types of people. It was cheap and great location to stay in Beijing.

The hotel is old, the atmosphere is the real charm of China of the nineties-noughties! If you are not ready to put up with peeling wallpaper, scratched furniture and an old carpet, then you are better off in Egypt on an all-inclusive basis. The bed is clean, the room is clean, no complaints. Every day they brought drinking water and cleaned, the staff is responsive. We went for authentic China and were not disappointed. The location is ideal, 5 minutes to the center and the local Arbat with markets, barkers and eateries. To the left and again to the left through one building is the Chufan dumpling house from locals and for locals, where it is cheap and very tasty, we had breakfast there every day. The hotel price is really cheap, and the room photos are the same as shown in the trip, but a little old. The location is very good, very close to the subway station, very convenient to go anywhere. There is only one thing that is very unsatisfactory, the hotel is too strict, and you have to check in and out of the elevator. When my friend came to visit, he said it was troublesome to register. The luggage was left in the room, and no one was allowed to go up to get it, so the staff had to go up to help. I was really speechless. Otherwise, I was basically satisfied. If a friend wants to come to see you, it is recommended to register one day in advance, even if your friend does not live with you, so as to avoid a lot of trouble.

Overall, I'm very dissatisfied. The toilet is very old, the wash basin is also very old, the drainage is very slow and often blocked, the 1.8-meter bed is also made of pieces, only the mattress is 1.8 meters, there are no disposable items, they said that for environmental protection, I have to prepare them myself, and I have to open the box for inspection, saying that it is in a sensitive area. I have stayed in so many hotels and have never been asked to open the box for inspection. The last time I went to Beijing, I also stayed near Tiananmen Square, and there was no unpacking for inspection. The only good thing is that the service staff have a good attitude and they will say hello every time I meet them.

We are a family of two adults and two children traveling independently. We booked a twin room. The location is good, the decoration is Chinese style, there is a small refrigerator in the room (not used), the hotel does not have disposable items, the location is good, it is very convenient to Tiananmen, Qianmen, and Dashilan. There are not many waiters, and the security check is very strict. The luggage was checked when checking in. The service attitude is not gentle enough, hope to improve. High cost performance, overall satisfaction.

The hygienic environment of the hotel is very poor. There are blood stains on the shower curtain ceiling, and the air conditioner is very loud. It is very cold in Beijing in November. I can't turn on the air conditioner at night, so I added two quilts. There is a thick layer of dust on the bedside table and the socket in the room can only be used. One, cannot be charged. It doesn't matter if the hotel's decoration is old, but the hygiene and service cannot be discounted. I reported the accommodation situation to the hotel staff but did not resolve it.
