Daniella's Bungalows

3 semaines passées trop vite sur ce site. Nous y avons trouvé ce que nous aimons : si belle nature, calme, authenticité, confort et proximité immédiate de l'océan. Avec un véhicule, l'accès à la capitale et à toute l'île est un jeu d'enfant. Cet établissement a deux étoiles. J'en ajoute une troisième : Elcia... Née sur l'île il y a 74 ans, elle a créé ce petit nid typique avec son défunt mari. De la pointe du jour aux dernières heures de la soirée, elle est au service de chacun avec tant de qualités spontanées et surprenantes. Une belle rencontre. Merci Elcia.

Very relaxing stay in Daniella's apartment! Good breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt, eggs..., if you have any special requests just ask, flexible with the time, great! Super nice, friendly team, boss very helpful with good tips, for example she brought my sick husband a delicious tea with lemongrass and lemons from the garden every evening, even when he was long since well... THANK YOU! Good beach just a few meters away, with a reef, you can snorkel from the beach, perfect place for sunsets, outside shower for rinsing off the sand on the apartment grounds. Beautiful location in a well-kept tropical garden. We had a car and were therefore flexible, Beau Vallon beach is about 15-20 minutes away on foot. The proximity of the road didn't bother us. We would go back anytime, then book directly with her, without a portal!

Great place, cozy, homely :) Kind and helpful hostess and all the staff, always came to the rescue. Delicious breakfasts - fruit, omelette, yogurt, tea, coffee, juices, toast... and all with a beautiful view of the garden! The best! Land turtles live on the territory, and birdsong can always be heard in the garden. Very nice place

In a lush tropical garden nestle small, well-appointed and clean bungalows. Large, well-appointed room with refrigerator and a small exit terrace and a bathroom with a large shower. All the staff are friendly. The manager of the place, Elcia, is very warm, available and does everything possible to ensure that you have an excellent stay. She can even selflessly find you a taxi to the airport and a car rental, just to make your life easier. The beautiful Bel Ombre beach is 4 to 5 minutes away on foot. There is the bus with a stop right next to it but it is good to have your own means of transport to visit the island and go to the restaurant in the evening. There are some very good ones nearby. We stayed there for a week and it seemed too short.

We have just stayed in this charming guest room and were able to appreciate the welcome from Elcia and her daughters. The room is spacious, very clean, with a terrace overlooking the garden. Wifi available. Parking if you have a vehicle. A very beautiful beach is less than 5 minutes away on foot, and a bus stop is nearby. Hearty breakfasts and very friendly hosts

I rested in the first half of April 2023. I was placed very well in 10 bungalows at the bottom of the garden. The neighbors along the road were less fortunate; local Schumachers disturbed their sleep. The birds woke me up)) a pleasant awakening, but already at 2 am I slept well to this accompaniment))) Russians, Germans, and Luxembourgers were vacationing with me at the same time. Everyone was happy with the accommodation. Cozy bungalows have everything you need: air conditioning, refrigerator, comfortable bed, safe, wi-fi, clean bathroom, towels. Upon request, they brought a kettle; in general, they responded to any requests very willingly. The hotel is owned by a nice family, and they also work there. Very hospitable and positive, open and pleasant people. Although I don’t speak foreign languages, we always found a way to communicate. Nearby is the uncrowded Bel Ombre beach; those who are noisy on Beau Vallon will love it. There are shops within a 5-minute walk (in both directions along the road), where you can buy everything you need and cook in the shared kitchen. Breakfast is delicious, but a little monotonous: eggs, fruit salad (wonderful avocado, I don’t eat it in Russia, but here I’m addicted), juice, toast, butter, jam, cheese, tea or coffee with milk to choose from. The area is green and beautiful, you can eat fruits from the trees. Wonderful avocado tree. Before leaving, Elsia asked if avocados grew in Russia and if I would like to take the fruits with me. She willingly agreed, upon arrival she treated her relatives, everyone liked it. It was my first time in a hotel of this class; I have nothing to compare it with. These are not European 2-3*, but quite worthy. For those who want to spend the night and go to the beach, this is the place. The attitude towards guests is all 5*, I repeat, very attentive to the requests of guests. (Astra, there was a lot of work, that’s why I’m writing this review so late, but I remember my promise))) Guys, you’re all great! I wish you prosperity!)

Small solid bungalows with 2 well soundproofed bedrooms. Correct comfort with a nice bedroom and covered terrace. The most undeniable is the kindness of the hostess and her daughter-in-law who always have a gesture towards their guests (drink after going out, listening to your slightest problem). Although the bus stop is very close, a car is welcome (on-site parking). Rooms 9 and 10 are furthest back from the road.

“Daniella Bungalows” is not a hotel in the literal sense of the word, it is precisely a family of bungalows, each of which has two rooms. Daniella's territory is relatively large and very green, and there is even a mini-zoo - two giant turtles and a baby turtle live in a special enclosure with a small pond :)). Daniella is two bus stops from Bou Vallon, and across the road there is a very nice wild beach, Bel Ombre, but, unfortunately, during our stay there were very large waves and we were not able to swim there. We lived in a separate bungalow next to the “restaurant” and a kitchen in which you can cook yourself, other guests took advantage of this - they fried fresh fish. We ended up in Daniella by chance, since the hotel we chose was available only a week later, and we didn’t regret it at all; on the contrary, we really liked it there. Firstly, our bungalow was quiet, which is important at night; secondly, the cleaning was impeccable and always in our absence; thirdly, and this is the most important thing, the owners and workers are very hospitable and cordial. All our requests were always fulfilled, and we received detailed answers to all questions. Elsea (the head owner) gave us a tour of the territory, told us about all the trees and told us to eat ripe fruits from the trees, and not those that fell on the ground. When we moved to another hotel, I brought different fruits with us. There were so many of them that we didn’t have time to eat them all and returned to Moscow with Seychelles lemons. Astra (the younger hostess), very smiling and friendly, wonderfully decorated the room with flowers for our arrival, and when we got ready for a walking tour, she took us to the beginning of the route, and then back (without a request from us). Krishna, who works in Daniella, went on a walking tour with us - without him it would have been much more difficult to complete this route, and told us a lot of interesting things along the way. He also showed me all the sights around Daniella. Thanks to him, while living in another hotel, we went to a concert in Victoria, which was organized by the Indian Embassy, ​​and watched Indian dances. Krishna came to the airport when we were leaving to say goodbye to us - it’s worth a lot! We were very pleased. To summarize the lengthy review, I recommend Daniella to those who do not need constant service at the hotel, who prefer freedom of leisure and movement, a friendly a**osphere and a relatively inexpensive holiday with an optimal price/quality ratio.
