Aquaworld Belek

Overall enjoyable holiday however an honest English Review on all aspects of Aquaworld & Belek travelling as a family with an 11 year old: Hotel: The hotel is wonderful. It is very modern, well kept and looked after, very eco and environmentally friendly. Has a lovely 1500m walking track around and through the hotel grounds which is enjoyable. It is recommended to do this early on in the holiday as it really does help you get your bearings. Hotel staff: The staff were hit and miss in my personal opinion. Always found the bar staff in the day throughout the various outdoor bars and the bar staff of an evening at the evening entertainment arena bar very friendly, bar staff in the lobby bar some not so. Restaurant staff were all great and couldn't do enough for you. Special mention to bar man Emre - credit to the hotel as well as the staff in the Asian A La Carte Restaurant - fantastic service and outstanding food. Also big shout out to the young man round the main pool on the roller blades! Best member of staff at Aquaworld! Guest Services: Reception helpful throughout stay. WARNING the guy Josif who claims he works for on the beach and is a rep is not a very nice man! Try and stay clear. Baring in mind we didn't arrive at the hotel until 3am he rang our phone numerous times from 7.30am when a meeting had already been booked for 10.30am trying to sell us excursions. We decided against the meeting in the morning and rang again in the evening saying we needed to attend as he would tell us our return shuttle. Did no such thing just tried to pressure us into an excursion. Having been to different parts of Turkey my advice would be go into town and book through Belek City Tours much cheaper than the hotels. I was honest with the rep and said we had booked down the town, we then got a mouthful of abuse and he then refused to tell us our pick up transfer time and ignored our whatsapps. STAY CLEAR. If you book with on the beach you can just go online and find your transfer time. Rooms: We upgraded our room to the 2 bedroom room with a garden view. Although quite basic it was perfect for what we needed. Lovely garden views which houses a lot of wildlife as well as beautiful plants, flowers fruit trees along with relaxing music to enjoy whilst winding down on the balcony. Bathroom was a good size with a powerful walk in shower. No toiletries provided - just some hand soap and dove soap in the shower. Only downside is the showers do seem to leave puddles on the floor when finished which leaks from underneath the shower. We had 3 room in our party and all had the same issues. But all in all for somewhere to get ready and sleep it was pleasant enough and very clean. There is a minifridge in the room which only stocks soft drinks and they aren't the best at stocking these up so I just left a note when we were low and they topped up for us. Pools: Pools are brilliant. Very clean, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Main pool is 1.5m all the way round so no s

This is the Worst Hotel hotel I have stayed at ever, First I’ll start with the good things: - The Hotel is clean most probably because it’s new that’s about it.. even then on our first night there was smell of damp. - We did not experience any rude behaviour from staff as other people have mentioned. The bad things: - This is not a resort it’s a small hotel having stayed in much bigger and luxurious resorts in the past in Antalya, this was a disappointment. - The food was very very disappointing, very bland and repetitive. They basically serve the same breakfast, lunch, dinner everyday. There is nothing exciting no themes we got fed up eating at the restaurant after day 1. They don’t consider serving food for a diverse culture basically the main meat they serve is beef. We as a family do not eat beef, chicken that they served was as hard as rock, fish was disgusting and they don’t ever have lamb. We ate dinner outside on our 2nd day. The snack bar is okay but again they only serve beef burgers, there is no variety. They serve the same burger, pizza chips everyday. We had to insist the staff to make a veggie pizzas 1 day with only vegetables and cheese. They struggled initially but made us 2 pizzas which were nice otherwise they only serve beef or margarita pizzas. So basically we had to live on veggie pizza and chips for lunch over 5 days, as the food in the restaurant was so disappointing. The alcohol is local and again not nice at all, my husband decided not to drinks because he didn’t like the quality of drinks. They don’t know how to make nice mocktails, I didn’t try cocktails so can’t comment on them. They don’t know how to make iced coffee, I asked the lobby bar to make an iced coffee on the first day and she said we can’t make that. We went outside and had the best iced coffee at the market which is 5-10 mins walk at a restaurant. The hotel chefs need to learn how to cook and make drinks from this local restaurant chefs, I can recommend this local restaurant “Sunset restaurant” although slightly pricey but the food & drinks were amazing. The Hotel’s website says there is a A la carte restaurant don’t be fooled by this as this is not true, they only have 1 main restaurant, 1 snack bar which closes at 4pm after which you can’t get any food till 7pm. There is a patisserie which serves the same cakes and desserts that they serve at the restaurant for dessert. The desserts were good looking but did not taste good at all. I am amazed that being in Antalya, Turkey I did not spot a baklava in this hotel even once throughout our stay. Or any special Turkish kebabs/ grills. - On our 3rd night we lost power in our room which came back but the Ac stopped working, we called reception but strangely this is the first hotel I have been to where the reception don’t answer the phone. My husband had to personally go down in the middle of the night to get some help. The staff came and said the power is gone off whole Belek and should come back in 30 min

We recently returned from our second visit to Belek in Türkiye having had our first last year. On this occasion my wife, daughter (20’s), Son (late teens) and I stayed at the Cornelia Deluxe Resort. We had an excellent stay however for us we would draw attention to a few small points which I’ll advise of. The hotel is excellent we had no issues. The service was exceptional, staff accommodating and insanely quick to serve and help. Checking in at reception was super easy and informative, staff immediately taking luggage etc. We had booked 2 x Villa Junior suites which are located in the swim up lagoon area. Reception offered us an upgrade to the Grand penthouse suite in the main building. We viewed this room which was enormous more akin to a large apartment. The suite has stunning views over sea with large rooms including huge bathroom. It additionally had a large balcony area with jacuzzi bath however this was behind fixed glass which made the jacuzzi area very hot. I mean you are in the roof high up with sun beaming on the glass. Maybe air con would’ve mitigated this but having viewed the grand suite we preferred the 2 Villa suites we had booked and were glad we didn’t accept the offer but were very appreciative. The rooms as said were the Villa Junior suites which were spacious with large beds, larger bathroom area which had a sunken whirlpool bath, shower, toilet and large basin area. The rooms are, how can I say, in a straight down formation. The large bathroom is at the back with sliding doors to close off the remainder of the room if required. There is a small set of steps from here down to the bedroom which is open plan leading down to the wardrobes and living area with TV. Off the living area was our balcony which was a decent size for 2 persons which had stairs leading down to the pools in this area. The mini fridge was stocked with bottled beer Efes, Miller, and Becks. The soft drinks were small juice cartons, glass bottles of Coke, Fanta, Sprite and Sparkling water. Also bottles of still mineral water. On the bar area were snacks, bottles of spirits Vodka, Rum and others, also wine and glasses. This,if used, is free and replaced daily. One benefit to note in regard to the Villa suites is room service, there is 24 hour room service for food in these room. Specifically it is free 24 hours a day in the Villa suites. In other rooms there is a surcharge when ordering room service between 07:00-22:00. I think the surcharge is €10 per person. The resort itself leads down to the beach as expected, the pools were lovely, indoor and outdoor. The pools during evening and early morning always had staff tending to them to keep them clean and the surrounding gardens in the resort. There are plenty of places to eat and drink on the resort. Some restaurants require booking in advance and have a surcharge which is €15 per person. We ate in 2 of these which was Hedera located conveniently within the Villa Suites and Tai Pen by the main res

Xanadu Resort - High Class All Inclusive

The hotel is old, rooms, toilets in the public areas especially. If you come to the pool bar you can wait forever for the service - no one will attend, they will turn around from you while walking past you. I don’t know why is it called “high class all inclusive “… as there were no fresh juice, Red Bull casted 3 eur, they did virgin mojito cocktail with mint leaves already brown color. Animation is average during the day, better in the evening. Not enough Sun beds - you need to hunt for it. Towels close at 6 pm when a lot of kids are still in the pool and need a towel; and no lifeguard. Territory with the swimming pool is beautiful.
