Hotel on a noisy street, building work going on nearby so didn't exactly feel the vibe .. Not great for parking.. UFF paramilitary flags don't exactly make one feel safe.. Belfast has lots to offer but this place is not one of them.. Don't say you weren't warned folks

By the time you click on this review, you'll have looked closely at The Harrison's website and gathered in a feel for the unique history, design curation and luxury of this beautiful place. It is even more wonderful in real life. There are fascinating, and funny, artifacts and features at every turn. We stayed in the Hans Sloane Suite which has the most comfortable hotel bed we've ever slept in; every detail in the spotlessly clean facilities and features was absolutely perfect. Added to all this splendour, what really makes The Harrison ultra special is its people. Melanie, with each and every member of her cordial team, has captured an extraordinary blend of homely, down-to-earth warmth and platinum, professional service. From the first welcome to the last goodbye, nothing was too much trouble over our five-day stay. Not only were we waited-on hand and foot but we were made to feel truly cared-for. For travellers everywhere, one of the lovely things about going away - be it on business or for a holiday - is coming home to your own fireside. Hit your favourite playlist, unpack, chuck the first bit of laundry in the washing machine and settle-in to your own beloved and familiar surroundings. So that's what I did and that's when it hit me as I cosied-in with my first cup of tea: I was actually missing The Harrison, picturing the place and wondering how everyone was doing! At 64 years of age, it's certainly the first time that has happened and I feel it's probably the best endorsement I can give to this magical place. And what tune came on at that moment? "Happy to Meet, Sorry to Part" by Horslips. 'says it all!

I stayed here and was very disappointed. I was with work but had heard good things. The hotel decor is like interior design masters gone wrong. All "style" no substance. I wanted to work at a Table; all the tables are low. To do my makeup; there is a dressing table not fit for purpose. The staff also were rude about me behind my back to my colleagues. The positive is location and very clean.

Looks lovely from the photos but in reality is poor quality, run by people who don’t care and is best avoided! Have never felt the need to complain about a hotel but in this instance I wouldn’t want anyone to have such a poor overnight stay as I did.

Stylish and spacious attic room with bath. Great location - 5 mins walk to Botanic Gardens, Ulster Museum and Queens Uni. Bus stop outiside for city centre (10-15 min ride everywhere and lots of buses so no need to drive). Safe parking right behind hotel and direct access to M1 to the South.Limited but delicious and healthy breakfast. Staff consistently helpful and charming.
