Room and the hotel in general was extremely clean. I opted for this hotel as an alternate try out for marriott hotel in belgaum. It doesn't have the ambience of marriott, a lot to improve. Its originally an old club called presidential club. The gym and other facilities like restaurant are owned by the club. So they have the club attitude. Gym closes at 11am on the morning, that was unique. When i asked around they said those are the timings. It's like owned government employees. The credit has to be given very is due. The restaurant food was good. However they don't have ***y options to try from. You have to order everything from menu. That was a big disappointment. I had paid for dinner while booking the hotel, thinking it will be a buffet dinner. But they said you can order from menu, but when ordered, they said it's not covered into your price. Huge disappointment. I don't think i will book again there in spite that staff was extremely good. Mr susai fernandez was helpful and tried to help, but his service can't beat the other short comings.
