Hotel Sankam Residency

When we arrived, a marriage function was in full swing in the garden area, check-in was delayed and it took quite some time to serve us dinner in the restaurant; however the food was good. Room offered to us was quite ok but in the morning we found all taps dry. No water in the washroom. Reception said plumber was on the task, but we got water only after an hour of wait. During checkout we were presented a bill of Rs.4500 for liquor and chicken dishes. We were shocked because we do not consume either of the items and we had our dinner in their restaurant and had settled the bill then and there only. Finally they verified that the pending bill was for another room (marriage party) 'mistakenly' with our room no. Probably a good hotel but we did not have that good an experience there.

This used to be a fabulous hotel. The owner is a great old *** of belgavi ! He is now maybe losing touch or most likely being let down by his staff. I have stayed here for ***y trips and have had been to belgavi while translating to my native place twice in the last month. There have been multiple issues that were faced : 1. The rooms are I’ll equipped as they are large without proper planning, 2. There is no soundproofing you will have the road as a room mate with you 3. The staff argues and has the audacity to tell you that the extra bed cover is only dirty and not the bed, 4. If you god forbid call them for extra bottles of water they will first tell you the price and then will send the bottle after 30 mins , 5. The bathrooms are tiny but they stink when you raise the issue we were informed that it was because the exhaust was on. 6. I had to change 3 rooms to get the Ac working Now the positive: The food is decent though if you want vegetarian please be prepared to wait for your order. The breakfast and the waiting staff was completely superlative, felt like a different hotel. They provide a pillow and blanket for the driver.

Everything is better mind blowing facilities,,, Staff are very helpful and friendly,,, Everything is better than any help of people are stay always,,,, Facilities and services to help full and mind blowing place.

Have been to this place before but this time have found the staff very arrogant and uncooperative... When i called to confirm the room they told me to call in 2 hours... very unfriendly and non understanding Regret booking a room there... now they are not even recieving the call...very unprofessional...

Rooms are small for families to stay. Food is excellant Courteous staff. Near to major attraction in belagaum. Swimming pool needs improvement. There is no supervision. No towels provided near swimming pool.

The property is nicely maintained. The food quality is good. Restaurant staff needs some more training. Breakfast is excellent, especially the way the owner himself treats the customers. His sense of humility needs to be learnt by others.

I visited this property twice and found this very comfortable as a business traveler. The room service is very prompt and the food quality is very good. Rooms are very well maintained. The property is not very far from the airport.

I have been to this hotel for the 50th time from its old times to the renovated times things have just gone from best to worst. Arrived now at 12:13 on 10th JAN 22 and I am greeted with multiple cockroaches in the bathroom and the room. Worst part this is my second visit in 2 months when I found the same. Issue is not that they have insects issue is when they get a call from the guest that he is arriving in 2 hours they could have checked but I feel highly arrogant are the owners and the staff as when they will Not know when they will fall from this glory of an old legend to new age systems. Unfortunately I had the best memories in this hotel !

It was scocking to see such an poor ***agement at the hotel. They have put all the required signages at desired points but have no control or sense to implement their own instructions. I am doubtful if this hotel has anyone called ***ager, forget General ***ager. The way the hotel boasts of local crowd joining their buffet breakfast is seriously a threat to people like us who follow the protocols. Hotel ***agement is more focussed on services to events organizers than to in house guests and one can feel it.
