Checking in at reception we were given a code for access to the closed accommodation area across a street and another code for the room. After that we never saw anybody from the hotel staff for two days until checkout with the same receptionist sitting behind her desk. And we hardly ever saw any other hotel guests as well. So my wife and me were also the only persons at the two swimming pools on the grounds (which was positive). The Deluxe King Room we had been given was spacious enough, but with only one chair behind a small desk, with no armchair or sofa, with no place to put the suitcase and with just a narrow closet. Bathroom was okay and on the terrace outside the room was a round table with two chairs and a hammock with a view of a row of room entrances just opposite and a small, narrow swimming pool. Location is good with a short walking distance to the water taxis. On the first evening we had drinks (excellent Mojitos) and an enjoyable dinner at 'Martha's Café', being taken care of by a very friendly lady, called Chris. It was our best experience here. Unfortunately due to our early departures each day we couldn't try breakfast nor have dinner on the second night, a Sunday, when the restaurant is closed.
