Older resort that needs major updateing. Close to air port, ok for one night entering or exiting Belize. But would not recommend longer stay.

I would not recommend people to stay at this property, it's run down. Had a hard time going to sleep. Heard all the noise outside lack of drinking water in the room. No ice machine

Seaside Chateau was a wonderful place to relax and get away. However, I wouldn’t suggest going into Belize City without a very knowledgeable guide with Security written clearly on their shirt. Also, remember this: If you see the “book”, open the “book” you buy the “book”. Make sure you verify prices of anything up front and confirm if it’s US dollars or Belizean. Overall, a very valuable life lesson.

We didn't get the room that we paid for with air conditioning. It was a very tiny room. Can barely walk around the bed and no air conditioning. Although we did get compensated with the dinner, that was very delicious

At one time this was a lovely resort, the staff all appeared to take pride in their work and customer service. Unfortunately the management/owners should spend some $$ for basic up keep. The lock to our room did not work and it did not work at our arrival either. (Friends were travelling with had the room at arrival) The facilities are dated, the restaurant options are limited. Overall it was fine for the first and last night on our vacation but would not recommend for a longer time.
