Hotel du Lac & Spa

This hotel IS the tourist attraction! I would return to Bellagio just to stay in this hotel. The spa is the most luxurious and pleasurable experience we had in Italy. In the spa, you can forget everything about this world and relax like never before. If you need some me, or we, time, this is a must. The staff also provided exceptional service and local recommendations.

Hotel Du Lac was absolutely beautiful! We loved the historic decor and the location was centrally located to everything in Bellagio, including the ferry dock. We loved our room which had a balcony looking over the lake with stunning views both day and night. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention how comfy the pillows were! Breakfast was included each morning in the dining area overlooking the lake and the food was fantastic!

We first visited Hotel Du Lac during the relaxation of the lockdowns in 2020. Excellent stay! When we were booking to return to Bellagio in May 2024 my wife and I agreed that we would return to HDL. Fantastic location and hotel. Breakfast seemed slightly chaotic on one morning with a slight wait for tables to be cleared, but everything else was perfect throughout our stay. All the staff are very friendly! Drinks on the roof top bar were excellent where Daniel ( a friend of Paul Young) recommended a nice bottle of champagne! Next year, we will definitely have The Crystal 😃 He also recommended an excellent restaurant, La Punta. Back in 2025 👍

This hotel is located right at the water transportation boarding area for Bellagio. The rooms are nice with fairly basic amenities but the views from the fifth floor offer a nice side view of the lake. The location is fabulous for exploring Bellagio and the surrounding cities. We did learn that if you turn right out of the hotel there is a nice sloping walk up to the main shopping area of the city. There are limited places to buy sandwiches so load up on the excellent daily breakfast served from 7:30-10:00 each morning and the view from the dining room and upstairs bar are both beautiful. Be sure to purchase return boat tickets at the time of your purchase to avoid the long afternoon lines. Cab ride from the train station in Como runs around 140 -150 Euro but be sure the cab is authorized to operate inside the City unless you want to drag your luggage 50-100 meters. Also be sure to make lunch and dinner reservations as the wait can be extensive and we saw many turned away. The hotel has a nice spa that is available for daily use along with messages.

Located in Bellagio with a great location and ease of access to the vibrant area it is a good hotel that has got great character. Unfortunately the food is just average and choice is quite limited. I really love the hotel and as well as you are prepared to eat out its fantastic.

This hotel was the perfect place to stay in Bellagio! Convenient, beautiful, clean, and fabulous staff. The morning breakfast had something for everyone and was delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful, attentive, and polite. Although we did not utilize the spa, it is a wonderful perk for a rainy day or a break from the touists. Highly recommend!!

This was our second stay and it was as good as the first. Right in the centre conveniet to the ferry, and yet at night was quiet and peaceful.
