I have been fortunate enough to travel all over the world and visit wonderful hotels, but staying at the Hotel Belvedere exceeded my expectations. The level of care and customer service was exceptional. The staff could not do enough for us, they were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The location is wonderful, overlooking the stunning Lake Como, with charming bedrooms, peaceful and serene gardens complemented by the smell of jasmine. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel for its staff, location and outstanding customer service. Mrs C Pierce

Delightful hotel with stunning views, unfortunately we didn't enjoy good weather so that rather altered our plans. Beautiful suite overlooking the lake, fabulous bathroom and lounge area. Bed/pillows very comfortable couldn't fault it. Breakfast was excellent, it would have been nice to sit outside enjoying the morning sunshine while breakfasting, but that wasn't an option. Mornings were the only certain times of the day for the weather. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel so I can't comment, the bar area could do with being made a little more inviting, really designed for looking at the menu not sitting having a relaxing drink, and as we were unable to get down into Bellagio in the evenings due to very heavy rain we were stuck in our lovely suite most evenings. Pretty pool area and beautifully designed and maintained gardens. Staff were excellent, organised and the management clearly take enormous pride in a family run hotel. Nice to stay somewhere that didn't have a standardised corporate feel.

Hotel Belvedere is the star of our Europe trip. We arrived to a warm welcome and personal tour of the hotel and facilities. Stunning view from our room complimented by a nice balcony overlooking the lake. Stunning view to wake up to. Convenient location and only a short walk into town. Breakfast was beautiful and the pastries were delicious. You can tell the staff and owners source the best. We left early one morning for a tour and our breakfast was packaged up for us to take. We truly felt part of the family! We would not look past this hotel if visiting Bellagio again.

Fabulous hotel & staff. Breakfasts amazing. Rooms beautifully decorated. Set in lovely grounds. Short stroll (10 minutes) to the pretty village of Bellagio. Lovely pool & jacuzzi. Owners have put a lot of thought into making guests stay an exceptional experience.

A totally magical place. Beautiful rooms and excellent service. The restaurant is fantastic. It’s a short walk into town if you can stand to leave the beautiful grounds of the hotel! Highly recommend it. The beautiful pool is an added attraction

35th Anniversary My wife couldn 't stop saying Beautiful. Hotel Belvedere is perfect. Late April, mid 70's ( deg F ), not too crowded, very close to town but far enough to walk home to the quiet serenity. Great facilities, friendly staff, just book it.

This is an unforgettable hotel. We were upgraded to a suite, with the most mesmerising view of the lake. It was actually hard to leave the room. Very comfortable, great bed and shower, and staff could not be more helpful. I asked for milk as, like many Italian hotels, milk isn't provided, and it was delivered immediately. Breakfast was just lovely, with similar views and great service. They had a small lawned area with day beds, that we spent some time on which I really enjoyed. We stayed 3 days but I hope to get back there for longer someday. The hotel is really well located a short walk from town, but I recommend to organise the hotel shuttle to get to the hotel from the port with bags. We didn't realise they had one and it was very difficult lugging bags up the 34893 steps with throngs of daytrippers around.
