We loved the rooms (we had multiple), but the breakfast was not good, so expect to eat elsewhere. We saw the rooms at the Ironworks and they were very nice also.

My family and I traveled to Beloit for a wedding, and I booked via a third-party, however, upon arrival I had made the grave error and mixed up the dates for the booking. At a moment of sheer panic, Jonathan simply (calmly) engaged the sister hotel across the street, The Ironworks Hotel, and connected with Kelly. Together they quickly fixed my mistake!! the hotels were beautiful, the food fabulous (we also ate at Truk't... sooo good!). the entire downtown was fun and cute... and I defiantly want to return. I cannot thank Jonathan enough!!! Kelly too at the Ironworks. both of these hotels are beautiful, and I would recommend over and over again!

The hotel appears to be a renovated old classic and it's very well done! Very modern and well-maintained!

On a previous trip to Beloit, I stayed at the Ironworks, the sister hotel to the Goodwin. I loved that and decided on this trip to try the Goodwin. This hotel is sophisticated and full of dark ambiance. It could be straight out of Manhattan. Walls are lined with professionally shot celebrity photographs. The floor I was on had dark colors and was moody and quiet. I loved it. My room overlooks the front edge of Beloit College to the center-right and across towards the Ironworks. The room is well-appointed and has a glassed in shower that gave me the most relaxing shower I have had in a long time. Great for solo travelers with a flair for luxury, and for romantic couples. Maybe not so much when traveling with Grandma. I cannot believe these two wonderful hotels are in Beloit. Kudos to Diane Hendricks for all that she has done in the beautification of the Beloit downtown. And the Goodwin is a showpiece. A great stay. Simply excellent.

This Boutique Hotel was beautiful, the rooms are humongous, the bathrooms are stunning, and each room is quiet and filled with little touches like never had boards, record players, and honor bars. We are already planning a return.

I loved our first stay at Hotel Goodwin! Beautiful modern hotel with amazing restaurant and roof top bar. Chilly on our night but we still peeked outside and it was an awesome space. Loved how quiet the hotel was. No slamming doors or hallway chatter. Our room was so quiet and we loved the dark ceiling and black-out blinds. Slept so nicely on our very comfortable beds. The pillows were a little stiff but the shower and great water pressure helped ease the slight stiffness in my neck. Loved the record player and while we didn't use any of the amenity items, it was a nice touch to have them there. Thank you!
