Hotel Best Triton Reviews

Can someone tel us how much a pint of beer is and can we still use cash at the bar? Due to fly out on the 31st July just want to make sure we can still use cash? Prices of any other drinks would be much appreciated. All help would be amazing looking forward to visiting

We currently have a trip booked for the 5th of July same as both previous reviews tried to get in touch to find out how extreme the works are and if there will be any noise or disturbances when we are by the pool or in the rooms Judging from the photos from this months work I’m a bit hesitant and would love some more information and or help

We are due to stay for 14 nights from first week of July, having kept ringing the travel company who have strung us along finally they say the hotel will still have building work on going in block 2 and that we can move the holiday t9 another date at no cost....annual leave booked well in advance at work and can't be changed, told can move to another hotel and pay the difference, prices have gone through the roof!!! We booked this at New Year and after several emails to the hotel itself and the Best Hotel group still no replies. Keep seeing about ongoing issues but the holiday company say its open and OK? Let's just wait and see, lack of communication from both, would the hotel or the holiday company staff enjoy being in our position with the possibility of holidaying on a building site?? Very very disappointed as we have stayed at "Best Hotels" many many times in the past but this experience is very stressful

Was a bit worried about staying here with the reviews but don’t worry it is such a lovely hotel we went on the 16th June they are still finishing the odd thing nothing major I would say it will be all done by middle of July, they are working very hard and everyday you can see an improvement but it won’t ruin your holiday lovely pool on the beach really nice rooms food was very good,

Hi I am due to stay at Hotel from 5th July 2024 for a week. Have emailed Hotel re renovations but have received no reply. Travel company have advised it will only be going through minor fixings in block 2 and rest of Hotel should be okay. But like the other person I would like song clarification from the Hotel

Hello, Trying to contact the Best Triton, have sent a couple of emails. We are due to be staying there at the beginning of July and concerned about the construction work and if it will be complete by then? Can Triton please come back and advice if works complete?

I am currently staying at Best Triton and yes there are definitely a lot of improvements to be made , but let me tell you about all the positive points. The food is great, plentiful, lots of variety and fresh, very attentive restaurant staff. The pool area is gorgeous, plenty of sun beds, the pool is right next to the sea so beautiful views. There is a really good children's pool area with a fun splash area. Our room is on the 8th floor and the lifts are a bit temperamental but we are finding our way around this huge hotel quite easily. The room is clean and has nice big beds, a great shower , a fridge, and a balcony. The animation team has started to do aqua exercise sessions today, which has really helped to add some atmosphere. The hotel is located 5 mins from the Marina with lots of bars and restaurants. All staff members are friendly and working so hard to look after their guests. I will definitely visit this hotel again.

Unfinished building site, There was nothing stating there was any works taking place on the site, the works taking place are far from minor works, we will be reporting this to health and safety. I am a plumber and work daily with drills and equipment and these are not to be left around live and especially close to children and swimming pools, I did not expect to see this flaunted around the hotel and I did not expect to hear constant construction when sat around a pool. A hotel in full darkness, no water, no way to even get drinking water I urge this hotel to be taken down until it is in full function with the basic needs being meet to keep customers safe.

Booked a large booking for my family for my mums 60th, we arrived and originally thought the the hotel was beautiful to then find a lady crying in the bathroom explaining she has been moved after just one night, it then came to light why, the hotel was a unfinished construction site covered with dangerous hazards, my two year old experienced screws hanging out of the kids pool as well as never ending safety breach’s such as missing walls at high heights, live drills left all over the communal areas, live wires hanging down on every single floor, the fire alarms where covered up in the entire reception lobby, things got even worse when there was 0 water coming from the rooms, we had to wait over 35 minutes to even speak to the reception as the entire hall was covered with customers crying and looking extremely upset. This experience meant we feel trapped and isolated on a trip that we had been looking forward to and this them went on to ruined the entire holiday, after hanging around all day with no where to even change my baby’s nappy as they had no bins in the toilet as well as no lights we was unable to even use the toilet, we had no access to any form of drink or water as the entire hotel had no water. Please avoid this hotel at all costs as it is a construction site and not a ready hotel at the moment inside and out, I’m sure when the hotel will be ready it will be lovely but until then fake photos online and not one mention of construction taking place we feel we have been truly scammed from trip advisor and very disappoint I’m easy jet for allowing this without any checks.

Fell in love with this hotel and yes it needs updated..So much space wasted and unused. Pool areas are simply amazing,straight through a gate and you are at the beach and lovely walkway to marina.Food was decent,bar prices good. For me downside was air con not really working for us.I hope that this will be sorted when they have a much needed refurbishment. The best thing about this hotel is the staff,from bar staff to reception,poor etc they are amazing and a Credit to this iconic hotel. Very good hotel with perfect location (beach, transport, shops, restaurants, sightseeings are very close). Spacy rooms, good equipped. Very pleasant personal. Restaurant has 2 beautiful terraces, big hall. Breakfasts are simple, but enough, CAVA every morning 😉. Dinners are every day different, international cousins. All drinks by dinner should be paid. There are 3 pools: 2 for adults and 1 for children. A lot of sunbeds and umbrellas. Light animation every evening. As I understood and saw the main public are couples in age from Great Britain. Almost all personal speaks English. Everything is very nice, only hotel really needs refreshments.

I do know that the hotel was closing for a very much needed refurbishment, it’s such a shame that nobody made us aware of this fact before we booked as it would have saved us from having a terrible holiday. This hotel should not have still been open especially under the guise of a four star establishment, which it certainly was not! The whole place was shabby, with missing or broken tiles on the steps, the lifts kept malfunctioning, the pool,only one of which was open, was filthy and the sunbeds grimy and dirty. Parts of the hotel were literally falling apart and a health hazard. Complaints fell on deaf ears and we got the impression that as they were closing nobody cared. This was our first trip to Spain and it has coloured our opinion now, which is a shame.

Just back from a week staying at The Triton, after reading reviews before we left I took my own kettle etc as there are none in rooms which surprised me for a four star hotel, I wake early and like a cuppa on the balcony and breakfast isn’t till 9am.The hotel is in a great location on the beach and just minutes from the beautiful marina, bus stops outside and very good price to travel around, our room was in the 9th floor with lovely views, it was clean and comfortable, the hotel is dated but I know it’s due a refurb this month, The pool area was lovely and no shortage of sun beds, There was plenty of choice at meal times even for a fussy eater like me, I just wish the vegetarian options were put together rather than scattered in different stations, and some of the soups were very watery, The entertainment wasn’t brilliant , the staff were very friendly and helpful, Would love to return when the refurb is done

We had a very good holiday at the Triton. Room with fantastic views. Room no. 265 Large room but short on wardrobe space and no drawers. Free safe, free Wi-Fi everywhere in hotel. Food was good lots of choices Staff very pleasant and helpful. I’m sure we will be back when refurbishment is done next year. Please keep pool and garden. The same
