I had high hopes because the office was clean and decorated. But then I was checking for bed bugs and the pad on my bed was stained bloody all over. Someone tried to paint and got paint everywhere whichever made it look more old and dirty.

Very old hotel. Sheets had a funky odor. Desk clerk made us stand out in the cold to Check in. Had to put up $20 cash deposit for “clean room”.

A good local hotel to get away from the daily normal life chaos.

I had a terrible experience staying there last. They wanted to charge me more for a nonsmoking room. I needed to save money, so I decided to put up with it. I had to put a $20 cash deposit. And when I got to my room there was dirty toilet paper in the toilet. When I called the front desk they came to my room with maintenance. The owner told me I was a liar. And showed me a sheet someone signed. I asked why I would lie about something like that. He told me I made it up Bc I wanted a nonsmoking room. And that offended me. I just said. If there’s dirty toilet paper in the toilet, I question the cleanliness of the room. Then his attitude got worse and told his daughter, who was with him, to go call the cops on me. I literally didn’t do anything wrong or raise my voice. I was polite. Then he told me the only way I could stay, is to put down another $80 cash deposit. I had no other option that night, so I paid it. I did get my money back in the morning, but I will never go there again and I highly suggest any other hotel. And if the owner sees this comment. You need to anger management and counseling. And I didn’t lie. You need to check the rooms yourself before you rent the room and call others out of their name.

Won’t stay here again

I was 20 minutes late leaving and the front desk attendant kept my 20.00 deposit. He was the same guy who checked me in a few hours earlier. I will never stay here again.

Awful, from checking to being kicked out in the morning and be threatened to have the police called and actually calling them because It was 11:15 and I was just walking out of the room. They attempted to charge my card an additional $25 for the late check out.

Another good stay at Benbrook Inn & Suites, WiFi worked great, Ice Machine was also good, and the room was in good condition.

Thus was by far the worst place I've ever visited. If it had not have been for my company paying for the trip In advance I would've asked for a discount and left. It was absolutely FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. 1. I Booked for a room with a jacuzzi and it wasn't in there. 2. The room wreacked of a HORRIBLE SMELL 3. The PHONE didn't work 4. TV didn't work. 5. There was MOLD & MILDEW on the headboard, nightstand and lamps. 6. Old furniture and paint under stairway. I went to report it to management and they walked me back to the room and the guy that works fr them walked in and said, "oh my you can smell the mildew really strong and I just cleaned this room 3 days ago." They had to move me to another room that was much better. I'll NEVER RECOMMEND them to anyone.
