The facility is very nice. Our corner king is lovely. The view of the golf course and mountains are beautiful. The only disappointment was that the room smelled of burnt popcorn when we arrived. Looking forward to riding our bikes in this wonderful area!

Easy check in and friendly staff. Room was clean. Very quiet (even with golfers outside) never heard them or bothered by it. It was nice to sit on back patio and watch the golfers tee off. pool and gym were very nice. WE had a great time and would go back.

The property is wonderful and close to a lot of places including downtown Bend. There are lots of activities nearby. We wish there are tennis and pickleball courts on the property. The house is fabulous.

Overall, people talk about Bend like it is home to the Second Coming-- its a nice mountain town but there are plenty as nice or nicer and much more affordable in the US. Tetherow had multiple mistakes in our booking, in getting a room ready for us; AC was broken and we had to sleep in a 77 degree room sweating at night, our room was downgraded from our reservation with no later attempt to upgrade, food quality is a bit above a Denny's and buffets were cold on arrival from the kitchen, staff made a small token effort to fix things as long as it did not inconvenience them unduly much. Overall, the resort has a beautiful quaint appearance but for the cost, service and outcomes there are nicer places to stay in the area.

We paid over $400 a night to stay here for three nights. The view is lovely. The management of this place is COMPLETELY incompetent. We pulled in to our room at 6pm today after having dinner in downtown Bend, and we could not park our car. All the spots were taken, multiple vehicles were illegally parked along the curbs, and it was just complete chaos. Turns out there was an unannounced (to us) concert in the area, and Tetherow was allowing all these people to park in their lots. We are paying over $400 a night, and we could not park our car. We literally had to park at least a 1/2 mile away. I went to the front desk to complain, and was told “well you can park anywhere you want”. REALLY? So I can park in Prineville and walk my way in??? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! What an inconsiderate, nasty, ******* response. Don’t stay here. You will regret it.

We have come to Tetherow pretty much since it opened, and the service seems to be improving. The restaurant and bar has improved the most! Food quality, and wait staff were much better than last time. Front desk was outstanding! Easy/breezy check in/out. My blood pressure machine batteries went dead over the weekend....the front desk ran me up 6 AAs and saved the day! Awesome.

The Cairn Cottage we stayed in was lovely. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately, Tetherow failed to mention their main restaurant would be closed for a remodel (in the summer?!) which left us with their noisy bar/restaurant which of course was packed every night. The workout rooms were great and the pool was nice. The biggest downside was the noise on the weekends. There is a 10 o'clock quiet time but many of the groups (esp the guys) ignored that and carried on like they were freshmen in college. The buildings are all very close together so it's impossible to not hear it. We had to call security several times. I think in the future we will do an air B&B and leave Tetherow to the young at heart.

We have been here before and were looking for a seamless golf experience. The golf course is great and the greens are a fun nightmare. The first night there, the TV did not work properly (many channels not working). They fixed it next day, but disappointing. First night we went to dinner and the hostess told us that we should probably come back later as they were too busy, even though half the tables were empty. Not sure what message that sends or why coming back later would be any better - pretty bizarre message. We ignored her and sat at the bar and had a good meal in timely fashion. Because of this, we went to Bend, OR for the second nights dinner. Third item - went to use the adult hot tub on the second night and learned it was not working! The family hot tub was full of kids splashing around and definitely not usable. Very disappointing. We did talk to the front desk and they took off the resort fee for the stay, but not the experience we were looking forward to. I would still return to the resort, but hoping that things run smoother next time.
