Bendigo Haymarket Motor Inn

I ordered 3 rooms for the weekend for 6 adults. Needed a queen, double and family room. Booked online and received a confirmation email of the three room booking. We would arrive Saturday and leave Sunday. I booked 3 weeks in advance. On Thursday before the weekend I got a phone call from the hotel. It was explained they only had two rooms available. I explained I need 3 rooms and was told there was nothing else available. No apology, nothing, in fact I found the man who called quite rude considering it is the hotels error. Simply all I could get was those two rooms. Poor work on the hotels behalf as apparently my booking only had 2 rooms. I have attached part of the confirmation for my booking. Confirming the three rooms, which I booked on the hotels website so their only excuse is they lost part of my reservation. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR RESERVATION LOST TWO DAYS BEFORE YOU ARE MEANT TO ARRIVE!!

I booked a room with a spa. I go to turn the spa on its not working. I spoke with the manager the next morning only to find out there is a switch next to the toilet no information on the switch to say what it was. Hes reply to me was why didnt you ring me. I replied thought it would be too late at night. I asked for a discount answer was no. I also had trouble with internet conection even though they gave me wifi access. I will never go back again. This was my first time in a hotel room specially being on my own. I would expect better service for $175 for 1 night. Also i had to pay $100 deposit and had to wait till 10am to get it back. NOT HAPPY.

Love to be able to review this accommodation but a booking through *********** was canceled on us leaving us high and dry. A call to the management elicited a range of erroneous claims related to Agoda which we did not use. Do not trust.

Dirty smelly ( like sewage) dingy rooms. Noisy….. could hear the next room clearly! Road noise. Parked ther taxi in the drive leaving a squeeze to go in and out. Unfriendly hosts. Spa was missing jets. Overall not worth the money spent…… not even close

What a disgrace! Very untidy blood on walls, body fluid on bedding and mould on celling. And list goes on!! Would not recommend staying. Only good thing about the whole place is the location is close to shops and local eateries, parks and gardens.

This is an extremely tied motel, pretty good location though. It seems the manager doesn’t know a handyman or own a screwdriver, everything was falling off the wall. The shower dripped, which made in front of the toilet wet the whole stay. No remote control for the tiny TV, no soap holder in the shower, broken curtains but luckily the bed was clean and comfortable. For gods sake do some maintenance on the place, you owe it to your customers.
