Only one cot is available (we have twins) and only stairs, which was hard to climb with babies, TV remote was very difficult to use and not many mini bar options. Otherwise, it's great. Just probably not for young families. I'd go back again with my partner alone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barclay On View. The facilities are clean and comfortable. There is a simple self check-in whereby details come by SMS. The location is close to the city centre with good restaurants and cafes.

Very happy with rooms 2 & 3. Well presented. Bathrooms were okay but probably due for a 'refresh' particularly the tiles & grouting. Reported 'minor' plumbing maintenance issues for both rooms to management. Will definitely visit again. Staff very welcoming.

A great place to stay if you're going to the Ulumbarra Theatre. Only a 5-minute walk. The room was clean and pleasant. Parking directly outside the rooms. Only a 5-minute walk to coffee shops, cafes and pubs. Very close to the art gallery and park.

Everything you need for a short motel stay and a short walk to restaurants, cafes, the art gallery and football ground and the central Bendigo fountain. Onsite parking and breakfast available if pre-ordered. Kettle, toaster and a small fridge with plates, cutlery, cups etc in every room.

Great central location. A few minutes walk to the fabulous Bendigo Art Gallery, restaurants & boutique shops. Large quiet comfortable room with table & chairs & armchairs. Glasses, crockery & utensils make it easy for in room dining. Will look no further when returning to Bendigo.

Barclay is a very ordinary motel. Very basic facilities. Broken and dangerous treadmill, flat batteries in air con remote, bunk beds in a couples room making it very cramped. Lots of other irritating little problems. Staff were helpful and nice.

Breakfast and mini bar prices really reasonable. Friendly staff and they gave us free washing powder to use in the guest laundry. Everything showing a bit of age Have booked again for next year.
