We are fortunate travelers and stayed here three days in 2023, so we returned and stayed three nights in April 2024. Excellent service, spotless room, wonderful food, friendly staff. The restaurant, wines, food and service was perfect! We hope to return! Thank you!

This is truly a 5 star property. First class service with beautiful rooms…some have views of the Alps. Heated pool, luxurious spa and hot tub for relaxation times. Gourmet restaurant a bit pricy but worth it but included in the room price is a complimentary breakfast. Amazingly helpful staff who are well trained in the art of hospitality. From beginning to end, it’s a wonderful property. Now the only downside I could think of is that it is 20-25 minutes outside of Alba. Without a car, it would cost about €60 one way into the city. No taxis are available to and from the property. But, don’t let that stop you from enjoying this slice of Italian heaven on earth.

Il tempo non ha aiutato. Alcune migliorie non guasterebbero, Nel complesso lo consiglio. Punto di forza l’ottimo ristorante. La piscina. La colazione potrebbe avvalersi anche di un bel buffet a vista di frutta fresca e torte preparate dallo chef.

La struttura è in una bella posizione tra le colline delle Langhe; il servizio alla reception è veramente di ottimo livello, con personale attento e sorridente. Le camere sono arredate con gusto, sono comode e molto accoglienti, il letto ha un ottimo materasso e ottimi cuscini, suggerirei però un tappeto/passatoia nei corridoi perché girando molti tacchi si sente molto rumore; La Spa è molto carina, ma non essendo una struttura adults only può capitare, come è successo a noi, di non riuscire a usarla perché c’erano bambini un po’ troppo molesti… La colazione è ben organizzata e varia, unico neo la sala: è divisa in due, un’area con una vista splendida, e un’area con vista strada/parcheggio… non siamo mai riusciti a stare dalla parte con vista… vi suggerisco quindi di fare colazione abbastanza presto così da trovare posto dalla parte giusta

Staff totalmente inesperto per una clientela raffinata, camere piccole e fuori prezzo, wi fi non funzionante, educazione e rispetto per il cliente non sanno cosa sia, arroganti e cafoni. Inoltre la spa è inesistente. Uno dei peggiori relais nella Langhe mai più.

Accoglienza e professionalità dello staff non adeguati. Gestione delle esigenze degli ospiti nulle. Spa ridicola e vengono proposti massaggi di 40 minuti al prezzo di 1 ora. Le junior suite per essere definite tali devono avere due spazi separati invece sono semplicemente camere leggermente più grandi e il wi fi ha parecchi problemi quindi non riesci a collegarti. Mancano le prese nelle camere e Anche al ristorante le cose non migliorano, inesperienza e inadeguatezza la fanno da padroni..piatti sbagliati bottiglie di vino esaurite non segnate a menu inoltre il prezzo per un servizio così dozzinale non è assolutamente in linea. Dopo aver avuto la camera senza wifi e dopo aver chiesto ripetutamente il cambio senza essere soddisfatto al check out mi propongono un giro di amari al bar offerti!!!..questo fa capire che pezzenti gestiscono il relais!!.. forse il peggior relais delle Langhe, servizio pessimo maleducazione e prezzi folli per un posto decisamente infimo!!

Relais Villa D'Amelia was such a pleasant surprise and a great way to end our trip through Italy. The manager (I think) that helped check us in on Monday, 7/31 was extremely kind and helpful towards us. She shared her recommendations of wineries around that we should visit, offered to call and make reservations for the ones we chose to visit as well as restaurants. Our room wasn't ready yet as we had arrived early, but she managed to get it to us earlier than the check-in time and also gave a tour of the grounds. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful, a great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The pool is very beautiful and the view is breathtaking... the endless hills of wineries is picturesque. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel -- the service was great and the food was delicious. Breakfast is included and is a la carte. Definitely going to come back to visit for a weekend getaway.

This charming Relais in Piedmont Italy is now an SLH Hyatt property. My wife and I stayed here for three nights while visiting Alba for the White Truffle Festival. It's conveniently located about 20 minutes from Alba in the beautiful country side of Piedmont surrounded by Hazelnut trees and it is close to many wineries in the Barolo/Barbaresco region. Our room was nicely appointed with a super comfy bed a sitting room and a large bathroom. The hotel is small but very attractive. They have a fabulous restaurant which is the traditional restaurant and they have a Michelin star restaurant which was not operating while we were there. We had white truffles every night. They have a spa and an outdoor pool which we actually used because the weather was so warm. The service was good while not being over the top. It is a very pleasant place to stay if you ever visit this region of Italy
