Staff are warmth...breakfast spread varieties. The pool need regular cleaning as dried leaves floating around the pool.

This hotel is located within the Ocarina coastal amusement park. However, the park looks abandoned. Rides and shops are mostly closed. The coastal shoreline is nice with scenic seaside view. The hotel itself is decent. Rooms are spacious, clean and properly maintained. Room have a balcony for those who enjoy outdoor spaces. Breakfast with limited variety. The highlight would be the gracious and helpful staffs. There were only 3 staffs manning the breakfast venue. Despite the breakfast crowd, they manage to serve with a smile allocating tables, clearing tables, taking orders for eggs, serving coffee and etc. Recommended to stay for relaxation and tranquility. The vibrant and fun filled amusement park seems to be something in the past.

Overall, still a pleasant stay and recommended. Reception accommodated my room change request, and special thanks to Kevin for his helpful and professional service. Pros: Spacious room, newly renovated, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Far from Nagoya town (20–30 mins), limited nearby restaurants and convenience stores, and breakfast selection could be improved.

While the place is relatively remote, the facility is generally clean, and the staff were friendly. Value for money

Disclaimer: the booking price per night I secured was cheap, considering it was last minute and during peak period. Upon arrival, property exterior looked nice and worth of the 4 stars but personally that was the climax of it as everything else was sub-par. Swimming pool was decent with a max depth of 1.2m. In-room experience: toilet seat was broken and there was no hair dryer. The balcony seemed overkill as it was quite sizeable but empty. Perhaps it is for the beachfront vibes but there is a wall covering any view (good for privacy though) Breakfast: only made it once for the buffet breakfast and the spread was limited. Again, below the 4 star touted. Service: this is where they saved their honour. Staff were friendly, great, and accommodating to requests. Location: very near to the beach and away from city, making it an idyllic place. However, maybe as it is the festive season, 2 out of 4 nights we were woken up by super loud music (and vibrations) coming from the event stage located opposite the property. All in all, pretty good for a newly opened hotel and at the price point (＜SGD80/night) means no complaints. But it is at most 3 star level to me

The place was clean and the service superb. Although it is rather secluded and far from the Harbour Bay area, I enjoyed the quiet and peace. Service was standard, and they provide a wide spread for breakfast. However, the pool is rather small; I imagine it was built mainly to cater to children, instead of adults who enjoy their morning swim. One grudge is that they forbid bringing in durian. One thing I never fail to do when I go to Batam is buy quality durians, which are comparatively cheaper.
