Haven’s beaches, location, and staff were amazing. Considering the price, we expected to not have the typical watered down alcohol/ meh food all inclusive experience, which unfortunately proved to be the case. You couldn’t get a buzz from the drinks unless you were injecting it straight into your veins. The only great restaurant was the Italian one. The coffee shop was also fantastic. The pools were beautiful, and there were always beach and pool beds available. The staff are very warm and friendly. Our jacuzzi never worked correctly and it turned out that you had to turn on the outside lights to get it to work, which we were never told. The nightly activities and the club are a bit cheesy, but the staff is doing the best they can. Big shoutouts to Pamela, Alfredo, Eli, and John, who were absolutely too notch staff. The rooms are beautiful and the rain shower is amazing! I think the overall value for experience is overpriced based on the food and beverages.

Highly recommended, a closed holiday home, it’s a bit troublesome to travel but it’s really a one-stop service! You can also eat anything, and there are several specialty restaurants to choose from.

The property needs a serious overhaul/repair. From missing tiles in the bathroom, a faulty sink drain, to cracked and falling paint in the hallways, there is a lot of issues. The staff seem a little pushy about services and restaurant reservations. But maybe it’s the end of the road for all inclusive resorts… and Cancun is definitely looking a bit run down, if not dangerous.

My fiancé and I stayed here for 4 days and it was amazing! It was clean. It was beautiful the food was delicious. It’s a hibachi restaurant on the resort we went to it and when I say EVERYTHING was so delicious I mean it! Adrian was our waiter and he was the absolute best!!! Make sure yall ask for him if yall go there. I would definitely recommend! 10/10 for us!

The rooms, grounds, pools and all facilities were extremely well kept and clean. The service from housekeeping to bar tending was impeccable. The restaurants were delicious and relatively easy to get a reservation. We made all our reservations as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed the pools and found there to be enough chairs, but it’s a good idea to get down early if you want some shade. The only negative was there was a slight mildewy smell in our room that I mainly noticed when sleeping. We were hardly in our room, so it wasn’t really a problem. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at Haven Riviera!

This was a nice relaxing place to stay. The food was okay, nothing great anywhere. Not a party place, most things closed early. Good service and it wasn’t very busy.

This is the second visit in 7 months to this resort, it’s obvious we LOVE this resort! The best part may be the staff, every single staff member from the spa, housekeeping, bartenders, janitorial staff and serenity concierge is friendly and makes you feel special. The food is incredible, the grounds are well kept, the entertainment provides options. Did I mention the food?? I cannot recommend Haven enough! They have options for everyone from the nightclub to quiet relaxation. Make this your next trip and thank me later :)

The beach and pool areas were very nice. Food and service in the restaurants was very good. They are doing construction next to the South side of the property, it is very loud on this end of the property.

Resort is okay depending on what your reason for travel is. My husband and I traveled with family and enjoyed the camaraderie. We met a lot of people from all over and enjoyed diverse conversations. Cancun is always a good time, but I prefer lower key, more relaxing resorts for vacations. Pros: - Amazing butler & wait staff. Special shout out to Petro for keeping the drinks and good vibes flowing. - Fun, vibrant atmosphere if traveling in group - Spa is top tier. Husband and I enjoyed hydrotherapy, massages and masks. Very relaxing. - Serenity Club has two separate pools and separate bars/restaurants to emphasize exclusivity and relaxation. - Room service is convenient and tastes better than the restaurants. - Rooms are modern and enjoyed ******* perks. Cons: - Food is awful. Your best bet is the buffet, but who wants to pay all this money for a buffet? The snack bar tacos were my go to. Italian was the worst. Indian was okay. Steak was mid. Mediterranean suspect. Avoid the school burgers. - Cabanas are scarce - recommend you claim them early in the morning before breakfast. - Building 4 Oceanfront master suite was uncomfortably hot and unbearable to sleep. - Building 4 is next to the main pool and since the nighttime entertainment prevented the ability to enjoy a late evening on the balcony. All in all, not bad, but not what I look forward to on vacay. This is a newer resort and construction is ongoing, so I’m sure it’ll continue to evolve!
