My compatriots, don’t be fooled! Never book this hotel!
This is not the 7-figure area, and the sea you see is not what you imagined the Caribbean to look like. HYATT ZIVA, you can see the jelly-colored sea. This one with the suffix rivera is totally terrible!
Worse than bad, the moment I stepped through the hotel door, I knew I had been cheated.
As soon as I entered the room, I collapsed.
I checked with Ctrip customer service and found out that this is real HYATT, but it is indeed a black shop!
Two rooms, four people had all-inclusive meals, and the next morning, three had diarrhea!
After paying for the room for three days, I gave up the last night and ran away early. Fortunately, Ctrip paid for one night's room.

Nice resort. Checkin was no issues, water was offered upon arrival. The Concierge: Gerardo, showed us where the restaurants and amenities are located. Then showed us our room and navigated the internet. The room was a great size and comfy bed. The beach was a little rocky and lots of sea**** but being on the beach it’s not unusual. The restaurants where great to accommodate celiac/GF. Some menus were a little slimmer in options but the staff was great in checking and confirming dishes can be made GF. They operated at a fast efficient rate. The bar staff was outstanding. They were pretty creative in making drinks. They did not disappoint. Understandably every guest experience is subjective and hiccups can happen. On departure day there a delay in pickup time for our car service and no update made us a little nervous. Gerardo was a rock star and made a few calls helped us figure out the car was on the way.

This place was heaven in a bottle!! Amazing food. Quiet if you dont want to be bothered. Pools in every corner of the resort. There is 24 hour room service, which i loved. They have alot of quality food options and vegan and organic options. The beach had sea**** in it but the view was amazing. I travelled alone and there was never a boring moment.

It was my family’s first time at Ziva and we absolutely loved it. Facility was very clean and all staffs were so kind. I enjoyed so many activities such as aquafit, aquabike, yoga, etc. My kids enjoyed Kidz club so much as well. Dining options were great. The only downside was I felt it was short-staffed in general especially in the evening at the restaurants and room services.
