Paid for an upgrade and received a worse room than what I started with. The mirror was broken, the A/c didn’t work, and the tv didn’t work.

The hotel's atmosphere and rooms are outdated. This was my least favorite resort. The staff were very nice. I have been to Mexico’s 6 times, and I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anybody .

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hideaway at the Royalton Riviera. The location was very conveniently close to the airport and seemed to be in a very safe area. Upon arrival the resort appears to be very luxurious and warm welcoming. There are many activities to do for free and for additional costs if you’re looking to spend. The beach is beautiful but if you would like to enjoy you will have to get up early enough to claim a seat . Same with the pool unfortunately. This property has multiple resorts so there are a lot of people flowing in and out. Being that we all share the same amenities there are long wait lines for all the restaurants, food trucks, and bars. I do Believe that there is a lack of staff that would definitely help the hotel deliver a higher quality of service to match with the ambience . I was Slightly disappointed that despite the number of times we mentioned the reason for traveling was to celebrate a birthday we did not receive the gifts that we were promised upon arrival. Also we had a mishap with our room that we had to relocate and still had issues

BEWARE , probs the worst adult only hotel we have been to. Adult only hideaway is just an Alcohol fuelled party place, service is average , most restaurant food cold , room housekeeping is a joke If you are wanting a restful , quiet , quality Holiday KEEP AWAY

Overall, the resort was pretty cool, but if you are young in your 20s, looking to have some fun in the adults, only section I would not recommend this.

The Hideaway at Royalton was one of the best vacations I have ever had. The staff were super friendly. Special thanks to Henry, the pool bartender and our butlers Ceaser and Maykenth. The food was amazing. We liked Armadillo and El Dorado the best. It's a huge resort so plan accordingly and book dinner reservations to assure you get in the time you want.
