Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All- Inclusive Resort - Adults Only

Paid for an upgrade and received a worse room than what I started with. The mirror was broken, the A/c didn’t work, and the tv didn’t work.

Excellent service and amenities recommend 100 adults only.

Our butler, Angel was outstanding. Beautiful beach. The staff made hanging around the pool so much fun. The restaurants were very good, especially Armadillo, Hunter, and Dorado.

Whereas the hotel fell short, the “Vibe” team exceeded expectations. Many thanks to Reyes; Nestor;Fer and Lino. They were polite and friendly and respectful to all in our group. They provided excellent group activities and always made a point of being visible. The water aerobics were great, thanks. Ana who ensured everyone around the pool had drinks had an infectious smile, and a wonderful disposition. Always polite and friendly. 5/5

I stayed here for a week with family. We travelled from the UK (London) for a 50th birthday celebration. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the hotel was clean, beautiful to look at and well equipped with a variety of pools, restaurants and places to kick back and relax, there is also a vast, beautiful beach which is pretty quiet and always possible to find a bed! Check in was quick and the staff are somewhat attentive. The highs: - Clean room - Friendly housekeeping - Generous buffet - Variety of restaurants - Tasty food - Friendly staff - Good entertainments - Beautiful beach - Good teens/ kids club - Well kept pool area - Good amount of sunbeds at pools (recommend going early to secure) - Loads of bars and I think it was pretty fast service! The not so highs from (someone that isn’t very picky): - Limited room service menu - Long walk if you are in building 9 to anywhere (especially with elder/disabled family members) - we lost a few items of clothing which we are sure we left out in the room during housekeeping visits which resulted in us locking our stuff away - the main pool can get rather crowded with people from the US (mainly) and can get super crazy with people twerking on the bar, bringing their own speakers and making tonnes of noise (not a huge problem but just not what we came for) - Didn’t have water in the hotel room for 3 days although we called down multiple times. - Jacuzzi bath didn’t work. - Toilet door broke 3 times. We called down multiple times and had to chase it to be fixed each time. - Asked for 7up for the minibar on day 3 and are still waiting… (we are home) - Upon checkout, asked for a bellboy to grab our bags, waited for an hour and chased but he didn’t turn up until we had left the room and checked out. When we tried to locate our bags, nobody knew what had happened to them and we were sent on a wild goose chase with some unhelpful staff. - Not a big deal but we are veggie and didn’t find loads of veggie options (but there were some - just not as many as we maybe would have liked ☺️ ) Honourable mentions: - Edgar @ the breakfast omelette stand - Josefat @ reception (drinks stand) - Laura @ guest services on 3rd floor by the lobby near the elevator Edgar was just so sweet! He was so kind and genuine! He always remembered our orders and our faces! We absolutely adore him! Josefat was super lovely! He was one of the first people that we saw when we arrived, he offered us a drink straight away! Throughout the trip, he offered us drinks and stopped for a chat! Overall, it was a lovely trip and you could spend a week there without wanting to rip your hair out as there’s a lot of variety in pools, restaurants and entertainment. I visited around 6 years ago when the hotel was new and I absolutely LOVED it which is why we returned but I wouldn’t rush back at all. It’s tired and The mentioned staff definitely were the highlight of the trip and they genuinely deserve all of the accolades!

We loved Henry at the swim up bar! All of the meals we had were exquisite. The rooms were always cleaned. We also had a butler who tended to any need that we had. Mini bar was stocked each day, and we also had a private lounge area that had snacks and anything we needed!

Hideaway 2024. AMAZING!!!!!! From Mr n Mrs P. Blackburn This trip as a couple was fantastic ❤️. From our first arrival until the day we left, we were made to feel at home. Every single member of staff from those you can see to the ones you don’t , maintenance, catering , cleaning the whole crew work so hard. The highlight of our trip was meeting Giovanni Altamirano⭐️, from Dorado restaurant. He makes your stay unforgettable, and he does this always with a smile. He is professional, helpful, kind and funny. Nothing is too much trouble. His extensive knowledge on wines and his recommendations were very well received and a great addition to our dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There are so many staff I wish to thank too as they were outstanding, ⭐️Oswaldo our waiter at Dorado. ⭐️Jose Luis Cen the pool butler works so hard and none stop always with a smile and willingness to help he never stops assisting every guest all day everyday. ⭐️Valeria and ⭐️Roberto were also helpful in his absence. ⭐️Hector⭐️ head of customer services was such a fantastic help we had a slight spot of a mosquito issue and had he not been so helpful and pulled out all the stops to assist and make my husband much more comfortable in his stay. He was always around to assist and always welcoming. ⭐️Milton the team pool entertainment well Go Milton!!! he has so much energy and he is such a joy to listen to watch and the games and food and drink classes him and his team arrange make for excellent fun. ⭐️Ana, ⭐️Noe and ⭐️Joel deserve a huge thank you for their work and dedication to the Hideaway bar. They work so hard, none stop, they are meticulous in every drink they serve nothing is too much trouble they are always there never stop and Excellent customer satisfaction ♥️. Thank you to all bar staff, hotel managers, culinary professionals cleaners, maintenance and I hope I haven’t left anyone out as you all deserve a mention. The hotel is fabulous, the restaurants are great Dorado was by far our favourite but the others are fabulous food too. The Beach ️ nights were amazing thank you again ⭐️Giovanni for everything. We miss you all already. We need to get back as soon as I can afford as Our stay in your hotel with you all was something else. THANK YOU ❤️ from the bottom of our ♥️ hearts

Second time visiting and having an amazing time as always! Excellent service and food, Milton and Cynthia from the vibe team have really made the trip for us so far. Favourite restaurants have been dorado and hunters. Evening entertainment has been brilliant too, would recommend and 100% come back

First time in Cancun at the royalton riviera, such friendly staff so uplifting and friendly during our visit, they were so helpful and had many recommendations for drinks and just general information on the local area, they made us feel very welcomed and I would highly recommend this resort for anyone going to Cancun!! Thank you Mario, Fernando and Juan for making this a memorable trip :)x
