Although the room itself (executive king) was nice, the front desk and management, along with Hilton customer relations, ruined it with their unfriendly, grabby attitude towards us as guests in their hotel. We booked an executive king which came with certain amenities at the restaurant, bar, including breakfast, but when we checked out (I had to ask to see a printed bill- they clearly didn’t want me to see it) there was a charge for breakfast! Apparently, I had forgotten to register for 2 people when making the room reservation (it’s a tiny entry) so they surreptitiously charged us (over $16.00) for an additional breakfast, this despite the fact that, when we walked into the breakfast area, the attendant said “breakfast comes with your room- you’re all set”- never mentioning anything about one vs two people. To top it off, we just shared some eggs and toast- that was it. So for $16, they are willing to alienate a Hilton Honors member. So be it. I’m done with Hilton.
