Great location. Easy to walk or call a Grab car. Close to eateries and cafe. Feee shuttlebus to shopping mall. Chauffeur, Vikri, was friendly. Also, the receptionists and securities. Nice view at rooftop bar or swimming pool

HARRIS Hotel Pontianak scores with a good location, friendly staff and an overall solid package. The public areas look modern and well maintained, and both check‑in and check‑out were efficient and helpful.
The point deduction is for the bed: the linens were freshly made but had visible stains, and the mattress underneath was clearly soiled – this is where the hotel urgently needs to improve its quality standards. With spotless bedding and a renewed or thoroughly cleaned mattress, this property would easily be a 5‑star choice within its category for me.

The service was incredibly slow; I waited almost 40 minutes and still hadn't received my room key. After that, I booked three rooms, and after complaining about the long wait, I only got two rooms, with the third one taking an incredibly long time to follow. Seriously, the service is extremely sluggish.
