The hotel is with seaview and it’s very worth the price. Yet the hotel is using salt hotspring instead of some other famous water, given that the area is so famous for hotspring I thought I would be immersed in better hotspring water. Anyway, the buffets are great and environment is great too. Given the price concern, it’s a pretty good hotel.

Large comfortable clean room. I loved the rooftop onsen. The breakfast and dinner were good, not 5*, but certainly you can find some nice food to fill you up. The only thing I really didn't like was there was no WiFi anywhere except the lobby, and there is nowhere comfortable to sit in there. WiFi is a basic requirement nowadays.

I liked the hotel. Very good selection for breakfast and dinner, convenient onsens, amenities of good quality and wide selection of shampoos, face cleansers, creams, etc. I liked infinity bath on the 7th floor, but due to the strong wind I could enjoy it for long time. However sunset and full moon were do beautiful and bath was comfortably hot.
There are table tennis, billiard, massage chairs and gaming machines in the basement, omiyage shop.
I liked choose of sizes and colors of yukatas too.

Room and onsen were good - clean, spacious, lovely view and not crowded. The food for breakfast and dinner average, not Wow type and same menu for our 2 night stay. A big mall nearby but close early 10am to 7pm. The hotel is popular with Japanese, ********* and Koreans but luckily the onsen though only one each indoor and outdoor, was not crowded so can go several time in a day and good amenities provided in the Onsen washing area. Will want to visit again

The ryokan style room is very spacious with beautiful sea view. We loved the indoor & outdoor onsen. Good spread at the buffet dinner and breakfast. A very relaxing stay! There is also a DONKI nearby the hotel.

Good value waterfront hotel. It's a bit dated and it could use a majority renovation, but it's fairly clean. Good service, and very good dinner and breakfast . The city view was not worth it. I would pay the extra and book the oceanview.

Very old hotel and too many crowded and noise. Staff at reception cannot speak English. Dinner and breakfast area has many queues, Elevators are too slow, cannot support for prime time (dinner / breakfast) and inside the room is very old and lots of dust. The window glass is very dirty too.

We were traveling by car. The hotel offers parking right downstairs, but if it's full, you'd have to park elsewhere, and those spots aren't particularly close. The staff at the entrance provided us with a parking pass and a map, but the pass didn't work when we tried to use it. We eventually circled back to the hotel's main parking area and, thankfully, found an available spot. Our traditional Japanese-style room had a lovely sea view. The onsen (hot spring bath) also offered sea views, which was very relaxing, though guests need to lay out their own futons. The hotel is approximately 6 kilometers from Beppu's most famous attraction, the Beppu Hells. The buffet included with our stay was decent.
