Just arrived home after a lovely 7-night stay at Pension Lugeck with my wife and 6-year old daughter. The B&B is located quite a way up a steep hill above Berchtesgaden, but providing you don't mind a bit of exercise you can get into town within 10 minutes (even with a 6-year old!) The breakfast options were of a traditional continental style, and the building is of the lovely wooden chalet style. We had a balcony facing north-east from Room 9, although we had a peek in Room 7 which was a larger family room and the views from that balcony are much better and face Watzmann (although the view would be obscured by a tree in the summer months). Our only complaint was the bed pillows, which were very deflated and unsupportive! It could be that they are of a more traditional style, but we didn't get on with them that well. Bedroom 7 also has a very noisy bathroom extractor fan which turns on a minute or so after turning the light on, and it stays on for quite a few minutes! There is no way to turn it off unfortunately. Otherwise highly recommended!

Wir wurden von der Eigentümerin herzlichst empfangen. Die Pension wird sehr herzlich, offen und hilfsbereit mit guten Tipps für Ausflugsziele geführt. Zimmer, Frühstück / Aufenthaltsraum sind in einem sehr schönen gepflegten Zustand und laden zum wohlfühlen ein Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und Abechslungsreich Eine Terrase bittet die Möglichkeit zum grillen, gemüdlichen Beisammensein oder man genießt einfach den Blick auf Berchtesgaden oder Watzmann Stellplätze für Autos, teilweise unterm Carpord sind vorhanden Dazu ist die Lage perfekt Alle Ausfliegsziele sind mit dem Auto in 10-15 Minuten zu erreichen, dazu ist man mit dem Auto in 2 Minuten im Zentrum Berchtesgaden Oberhalb der Pension, 3 Gehminuten ist ein gutes Restaurant mit heimischen Spezialitäten Wir waren vom 30.7-4.8.2021 in einem Watzmannzimmer Da es uns so gefallen hat, waren wir vom 11.8-15.8.2021 gleich nochmal Wir haben geplant, jedes Jahr in die Pension Lugeck zu fahren
