It’s just okay and nothing special. It won’t win awards for the aesthetics and the room is so small I don’t know how I’d manage if there were two of us, it’s a tight squeeze. Staff are hit and miss some are friendly and helpful and others seemed to have an attitude. Location is great and it’s close enough to everything you’ll need in Bergen. You can hear a lot of noise from the room, chairs scraping on floors and chat from other rooms so bring white noise! View from room of harbour great if you get a top floor.

My 2nd stays when visit Bergen on October 2022 and April 2023 both visit are for 3 nights each stays. I love Thon hotel because the breakfast was amazing, so many varieties of food and delicious. The room is very nice and clean and comfortable beds. Shower room is nice and the adjustment of the water is perfect. I love the chocolate they serve in ours first check in. Delicious. Parking is not free but easy access. The hotel is located in the heart of Bergen old Town, only walk about 2 minutes from the lobby, beautiful Maria Church also 2 minutes from the lobby, definitely will come back...strongly recommend 😍 you can watch my channel about all hotels I recommend on WTLJ YouTube, thanks 😊

It’s just okay. Rooms very small, I’m a solo traveller and I can’t imagine sharing this small double room with another person. Slightly depressing aesthetically, the front of the hotel and the corridors and bedrooms. Positives are the location, close enough to everything. Good views if you’re on the higher floors facing the harbour. Staff are friendly. Breakfast okay, not sure why everyone says it’s excellent, I’d say pretty average. No toaster. Good that there’s a kettle in the room. I probably would recommend but with the caveats above.

Great property in a great location. My only issue was the lack of outlets for charging. There were only two. one as part of a desk that didn't tolerate my European adaptor. The other was over the light switch as you first entered into the room. The rooms, as is typical of Tromso, are quite small.
