I and my family had a memorable trip to Murshidabad, thanks to the hospitality extended by the Rajbari. We were picked up at Azimgunj station on request. Food spread was changed for every meal. Food was unlimited and sumptuous. The rooms were spick and span and well appointed. A mini fridge, TV, almirah with huge mirrors, and showcases with ceramic dolls complemented the decor. A small tea/coffee section was also provided in the room. The bathroom had western fittings with geyser. The Rajbari itself is a star attraction. The ' Nachghor', Durbar hall, the dated furniture and the chandeliers are great to look at. The property has huge lawns, ponds, tennis court and well ***icured gardens. The daily evening aarti is attended by the owners and includes the guests. The staff was very helpful in all aspects. The place doesn't stink from leftover food smell since room service is not allowed here. We spent the evenings enjoying cultural festivities arranged by the Rajbari. The present owners are doing a commendable job in terms of upholding their heritage and legacy of their forefathers. We loved the place and are looking forward to visiting again.
