Coolfont Resort

No wi-fi! No heat in the bathroom, kept a bumping my head getting out of bed on the ceiling.

Room was plenty big enough and very clean. If there was anything I could complain about was there was no TV in the bedroom

First, SOO glad they're open AND making fantastic progress on the post-fire rebuild! Our room was a delightful surprise upgrade to the Woodland building - clean, spacious, cozy, and a great jacuzzi tub. Can't wait to return again!!

The picture and description of this resort don't do it justice. This place was excellent. This was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in, it was spotless!! Furnishings weren't the most up to date, but they were acceptable. I will 100% stay here again.

The room was very clean and maintained. Call early to make sure you arrive before the front office closes.

Welcoming and friendly front office staff. The room cabin was spotless and warm. The beds were of 5-star quality! Can't wait to go back!

Cabin was nice and very roomy. Decor was outdated and mismatched. Tubs were very uncomfortable to stand in as they slanted severely. Area around the cabin was beautiful and the walking trails were very nice.

Once again loved our time spent here! We stayed at the Woodland house over the weekend & it was so cozy & relaxing.. the trees by the lake in autumn were beautiful, like a movie! The staff checking in and out were very courteous & friendly. Staying at Coolfont is quickly becoming a new tradition for us.. can't wait to see the opening of the main buildings.. keep up the great work everyone !

They had patio furniture inside and it was old and not at all comfortable. It was up against the A-frame wall which meant I could not lean back or I'd bang my head on the wall. The pilot was not lit for the fireplace, the tv was on satellite but the info was in a book while there were two controllers left there, so when I chose PRIME it knocked the tv off the satellite - so no tv for the weekend stay! There was NO WIFI in the cabins, a detail they leave til check-in!! There was nothing homey - no throw pillows, no throw blankets- there were not even enough blankets for me to be warm at night! Had to ask for enough towels and finally - a detail that grossed me out - the return vent was very dirty - which means it's just pulling dirty air into the heating system. No value here.
