The overall impression of this facility is worn and dowdy. The carpets were stained. The hallway light fixtures were dirty. The paint was chipped. Several of the hallway lights were not functioning making it difficult to see in the evening . The staff was pleasant and helpful. Would not return or recommend.

Dukes Bath is a wonderful hotel! The staff are all friendly, caring and really helpful - it's obvious that they take pride in giving the best experience. They were helpful with moving luggage and specific requests. The breakfast is brilliant, as they accommodate different diets (e.g. gluten free, dairy free) and will obtain specialist food or drinks if asked (e.g. alternative milk). The room was large, stylish, clean and comfortable with quality extras such as natural hand soap and hand cream (no harsh chemicals). I would highly recommend Dukes, especially for those with dietary requirements.

We enjoyed our stay at Dukes Hotel in Bath. Our room was lovely and I felt like I had stepped into Bridgerton! Very big and bright with a gorgeous big bed. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and were helpful in every way. The location was very close to town center and easy to get around. We highly recommend The Duke!

When we visit Bath we will stay nowhere else. Why? Because Dukes is the perfect hotel. Classy, very comfortable, traditional classic ‘Regency’ decor - very beautiful. The staff are terrific too. So friendly and so willing to help. Wonderful breakfasts round everything off. Despite changing hands recently - farewell Carole and Christopher - the new owners have kept the Dukes’ traditions. We will be back - in fact next week!

Consistent with other reviews, Dukes is like a stereotypical English experience from another time. I was lucky to have accommodation with a large bedroom and separate sitting room. Staff were great, going beyond the call of duty in assisting with luggage, offering breakfast and experience options. Being heritage listed there are no lifts and perhaps the bathroom could be updated. Stairs are carpeted but could still be an effort to negotiate for some.

Dukes Hotel was all that we had hoped for, especially for letting my imagination run wild and taking a step back in time. Classic and cool and not pretentious in any way. Super friendly and accommodating staff - Vincent was a blast, a great people person and host, extra cookies for our son and always happy to have a chat! We felt very at home. The breakfast is fabulous too. The room was spacious with a beautiful bath to have in Bath! We will definitely be back. Thanks Dukes !

We spent a long weekend in Bath to celebrate a birthday, and had a very pleasant stay at Dukes. The building is exactly as they describe, so we were forewarned about staircases and no lifts, and was very conveniently located for all our sightseeing. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice, room was comfortable, staff were all very friendly. We'd have no hesitation in staying here again.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating; storing our luggage, answering our questions and making sure our stay ran smoothly. The room we stayed in (Norfolk) was possibly the nicest room we’ve ever stayed in, complete with a selection of tea, coffee, bath related magazines and furnished in a beautiful Georgian style. The breakfast was delicious, the outside courtyard and bar very chilled and the location, on Great Pulteney Street, unparalleled. We had a fantastic stay and cannot recommend Dukes highly enough!
