Bellman Hotel

In international standards I would not call this a 5 star hotel but it was a very good hotel. The location is quite dodgy the sbahn station is about 8-10 mins walk but the u bahn station is across the hotel. What i mean by the location is dodgy - is that you don’t get the best city view but you would be in Neukölln ( so affordable food doors down the hotel ) I had a Thai receptionist ( I unfortunately did not catch his name ), he was a dream to speak to. I think that did add to the service. The room and bathroom was SUPER clean, which was enjoyable. Things to keep in mind - they have a. Mini snack bar where they would require a €50 deposit and will charge you city tax. They do not accept food deliveries.

Too many things to consider before coming here. To me it’s less service less comfort but the location is good for subway only. I’d stay here only if i need to be around that location because the price is way too expensive.

The reception was not friendly and is rude . Also charged us ridiculous amount of deposit

The front desk staff were excellent and kindly upgraded me to a room with a kitchen. Since the hotel is newly opened, everything feels fresh and clean. The only downside is that the parking area is still an uneven dirt road, and the pillows were quite flat. Other than that, everything was great.

We travelled to Germany in our car to visit our son who lives in Berlin. We have an EV so our choice of hotels was influenced by two factors - the availability of secure parking and a charger. The Bellman Hotel has neither, despite the hotel description on your site. Moreover, the place gives a very good impression of being only half finished. The "car park" is in fact a yard with a construction fence around it with a base that can only be described as rubble. The actual underground car park is not available and neither is the charger(s) in it.

It was a great hotel. Very clean and comfortable with helpful staff. Not the best location as it’s a 25 minute commute to central berlin.
