Four independent, stylish app., Large common room for cooking, dining

Family get away Great location, very convenient. Just a short walk to the subway station giving access to all of Berlin. The 4 rooms were perfect for our extended family of 9 people.

Berlin home base for large family group The set up was perfect for our family group where each couple or family could have their own space, plus a common gathering space. The location is central enough and near an SBahn station for ease of getting around. The host was great to work with and was even able to accommodate a change in our itinerary. David Bowie's old apartment in Berlin is around the corner. Bakeries and shopping is nearby, lots of Doener restaurants nearby. There is also a fantastic Schwabisch restaurant (highly recommend it). It's best if you don't have a car to deal with for this particular rental. It was a great value and home base for our stay in the city.

Great for 12 max groups Great separated apartments that can accommodate groups with a shared living room, which doesn't connect directly unfortunately. The extra beds are really uncomfortable though and they should be replaced or the place shouldn't be rented for more than 12 people. 3 of my friends didn't sleep properly as they're very mushy and short, feeling the ground underneath. Maybe they could work for babies or children, but definitely not adults.

Great for groups The four mini-apartments worked great for me and my spouse, the grandparents, and the kids to have their own spaces. The shared space was fine though a couch or more comfortable seating for hanging out could be an improvement. Easy access to the S-Bahn and busses opened the city up. We strongly recommend checking out the nearby cocktail bar “Mein Freund Harvey.” What a cool couple that own it.

Great stay Great, quiet rooms, nice communal room, great staff in the restaurant annex

Good base for a big group to explore the city Location- great for public transport and local shops. Accomodation - fantastic kitchen and socialising space on ground floor. Bedrooms spacious and good flexibility. Main kitchen would benefit from a microwave and washing machine. Cleanliness was OK though the bedding (which you pay extra for) was not 100 % clean looking - this was clear because guests have to make their own beds with the bedding provided. Pillows were inadequate (very tired) and duvets and pillows were heavily marked. Duvet covers, towels, pillow cases were clean. Recycling arrangements could be clearer therefore a risk everything ends up in landfill... Bear in mind stairs to upper apartments are steep (no lift) but we found this fine. We really enjoyed our stay, we would stay again, but would take our own pillows :)
