Our room was dusty and smelled like cigarettes. Despite these issues, we chose not to complain due to our long drive, and considering it was just a one-night stay. The breakfast was average. I would recommend to just book a hotel room and have breakfast somewhere. While the location is very convenient, there are many other hotels in the same price range that offer a nicer and cleaner experience.

Hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially the reception and breakfast service staff. The hotel decor is relaxed and chic throughout. It is located with easy access to local restaurants, transport and other amenities. Berlin is a vibrant and exciting city with much to do and experience. The hotel made the weekend break that bit more enjoyable. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending the Sir Savigny Hotel.

Das Hotel Sir Savigny, ein Ort, der sich in den Trendfesseln der 2010er Jahre verirrt hat – ein stilistisches Bermuda-Dreieck, wo guter Geschmack schiffbrüchig wurde und Ambition den Notausgang gesucht hat. Ein Empfang, so farbenfroh sortiert wie ein Instagram-Feed eines Hobby-Influencers, der leider vergessen hat, dass Bücher mehr als nur Deko sind. Das Zimmer? Ein Paradebeispiel für 'Stil über Substanz' – durchgestylt bis zum letzten Kissen, das schreit: 'Ich war mal modern!' Jetzt jedoch ein bisschen zu 'benutzt', als ob jedes Möbelstück seine eigene Midlife-Crisis durchlebt. Das Bad erinnert an die Platzangst-induzierende Kabine eines Low-Cost-Fliegers – kein Platz für mehr als die eigenen Gedanken und definitiv keine Ablagen für die Urlaubskosmetik. Das Frühstück? So inspirierend wie die Autobiografie eines Buchhalters – einfach einfach. Man fragt sich, ob 'einfach' das neue 'exquisit' sein soll, doch der Gaumen bleibt skeptisch. Trotz allem liegt das Hotel so zentral, dass man schnell flüchten kann, um die kulinarischen und kulturellen Rettungsboote Berlins zu erreichen. Aber, und hier kommt das überraschende Kompliment – die nach Farben sortierten Bücher im Empfangsbereich! Ein sichtbares Zeichen, dass hier zumindest ein Auge für Ästhetik besteht – ein Leuchtturm der Hoffnung in einem Meer von Stil-Verirrungen. Kurz gesagt, Sir Savigny ist wie eine Verabredung, die gut aussieht, bis sie den Mund aufmacht – optisch ein Hingucker, aber lässt leider in zu vielen Bereichen zu wünschen übrig.

Das Personal ist international und sehr freundlich. Die Lage direkt am Savigny Platz ideal. Das Frühstück ist gut und mehr als ausreichend. Besondere Gerichte kann man bestellen. Jederzeit kehre ich gerne wieder dorthin. Im Sommer wird der kleine Garten sehr schön sein.

This hotel is in a great location and the rooms are pretty good. A few things that could improve, currently the hotel seems to be under some renovation so bathrooms outside the rooms are unavailable. We arrived around an hour early and our room wasn’t ready, an available guest bathroom would have been good. The rooms are furnished well but I would say if you aren’t comfortable with using the shower/ toilet in front of each other it could be a problem as both are basically in the same room as the bed, only divided by a thin glass door. The staff were great, especially the lady at breakfast who was very helpful. Great transport links and restaurants in the surrounding area, just a walk away from the zoo. All in all a good stay but just needs to get its maintenance complete

The hotel staff is only speaking English which is a little strange for a hotel located at Berlin, Germany. The selection at the breakfast buffet is rather limited. Hotel room is extremely small. I wasn't able to fully open my suitcase on the floor. Furniture and room details are a little worn out. Style of the hotel is nice. However overall value for money is not too great.

Cool hotel die goed gelegen is in Berlijn. Warm onthaal. Achter de hoek 2 lekkere ontbijtplaatsen (never beding love story & seven heaven), restaurants, supermarkt, vlotte verbinding met directe centrum.

Great location, cosy rooms and the comfiest beds ever!! We were really pleased with the level of detail, from the handwritten welcome note and complimentary drink on arrival, to the gorgeous smells and boutique style smellies. It felt like a treat. The only things I would grumble about is the fact “The Butcher” next door was closed the whole of our stay even though you could still book a table online. We were really looking forward to eating in the restaurant but never got the opportunity. The room was very small (although beautifully designed).
