It was our third visit to Berlin and thought it would be nice to stay in West Berlin instead of Mitte or further east. Plus, we were looking for a hotel with character and a different vibe than the modern hotels. Henri Hotel did not disappoint! The location was convenient (although a little further from the popular tourist attractions). We enjoyed the look and feel of the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and the service was friendly and non-pretentious. A few minor issues, but none didn't impact our overall enjoyment. We had a spacious room with a balcony, which we loved, but could have better storage. The bathroom is functional, but on the small side and needs a little updating. The noise-proofing is not adequate: we were woken up twice at 6 am by housekeeping staff. We enjoyed our stay at the Henri Hotel.

This is a lovely place to stay. 1920s style decor with lovely high ceilings. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with lots of choice and their own honey. An honesty bar, coffee and tea. Our room was great. Beds super comfortable. The shower had great pressure!

I'm often in Berlin for business and like to stay at the Henri.
The location right next to the zoo is ideal and having the Ku'damm just around the corner is also very practical.
I also think that being able to eat a sandwich in the kitchen in the evening and have a drink at very reasonable prices is great for business trips where you've usually already eaten something larger at lunch.
Almost all of the rooms face the courtyards and are therefore very quiet. The beds are also very good, but the grout and shower walls in the bathrooms are a bit rotten - they could really do something about that.
The team and staff are also TOP, unfortunately that's rare these days.

As a great fan of individual hotels, I was a regular guest at the Savoy Hotel on Fasanenstrasse until a few years ago - when this hotel closed its doors due to the pandemic, I came across the Henri on Meinekestrasse by chance - and since then I have not had a better stay in Berlin! If you are looking for a boutique hotel with real charm, friendly and courteous staff, cozy rooms that match the style of the hotel and a delicious and high-quality breakfast buffet, you will love the Henri! A big compliment to the management and the whole team! I look forward to being there again soon...

Second time staying in this lovely hotel. It has character, history and a faded beauty to it. Its a very comfortable place to stay. Ideally situated near to the Ku-damm with plenty of good restaurants nearby.
